Just loaded a character from this mod and there are no skills in any of the skill trees. They are all blank, so I guess this is a non-working mod now.

Problem: Character shown is the beserker. Skill descriptions are missing and skills dont increment when spending experience. No other mods are being used.

Maybe the third should be tasked to be the beast's ability to do DPS and the master's DPS should be about the same so they rely on eachother?

Maybe you should make the last one a caller skill, as a beast master they are in need of the ability to call upon different beasts to help them in an means, give them boosts as well in passive skills. just an idea

Bro change the description...I thought it would allow me to change into an animal of my choice or allow me to turn into the same animal as my pet...This mod, as sorry as I am to say it, needs to be removed and taken up by someone with more modding skills, as you said your new to modding.

I’m for the animal/monster Summoning tree too. When I think of a beast master it’s a range of pets with different ability’s. Maybe toss in an ability to tam some of the local animals/monsters . you can make the taming ability perm because they won’t last long, I don’t think. You just can’t do the specials. As fun as that would be I think it would be a bit to powerful.

Perhaps call the last skill tree "Totem" or something of a druidic or shamanic nature, for summoning and general defensive skills. Much like the 4 standard classes.

I agree with joelalexander, the last should be a summoning skillset.
Would work well if combined with others, and if someone cooks up a hordes of hostiles mod for those epic battles, you won't have to deal with entire armies by your lonesome.

I've played this mod, and did'nt notice and problems,i played it with synergies nothing else. May have been the mods you were using.

Can't get this working.. when I use the ability mana is deducted but my character doesn't change. When I go to the skill tree all but warbeast is blank. any help anyone?

like pets can taunt or something u can heal your pet and so on

It should be a buff slash healing tree that way you can heal your pet as well. Healz should be for you/pet or pet only not group that would be a bit op in my opinon, unless the heal was bigger if used on pet and weaker when used on you/party

I agree with Druzz if it is possible to have a tree that does pet buffs, I am not sure how agro works in TL2 but you could give your pet all agro and go to twon buffing it, albeit with minor casitn ability just in case the dang thing ends up dying. Your pet should get boosts to health and all that jazz man I am still holding out for this. I wish I was good at this type of stuff... Would so help you, I already tried to make a class and failed miserably so I will be patiently waiting this mod

Maybe the master uses a staff and assists his/her pet and enhances the pets abilities but the third skill tree focuses on attacking with your pet using both of the attack powers. For example you use a ranged weapon while the pet tanks but if you chose the "master" you stand back and heal your pet and/or cast spells at the pet so it does special attacks e.t.c.

It might be neat too, to have the third option let the character and the pet merge to become a beast/man hybrid. Thundercats ho!

I'd say the third one be one of the following:
Spirit tree: Call upon the spirits of other beasts to amp up damage of your pet, adding elemental effects, res, etc.
Wilderness tree: Summon other animals. Like, no shit, grab the monster files out of the game and make them summonable creatures, summoning greater numbers with greater levels, as well as stronger creatures with stronger levels. Spider and ratling summons for beginner abilities.
Survivalist Tree: The beastmaster has learned to survive in the wilds, right? They work off the natural bounty they can access? Give them some herbal medicine abilities and passive buffs that show that. Minor self heals, self buffs, etc.

My suggestion for the 3rd tree is to make it support for allies, like what Beastmasters do in Everquest for healing and buffs.

My suggestion for the 3rd tree would be more of debuffing and doing some elemental magic damage to the enemy. http://pwi.perfectworld.com/gameinfo/class/venomancer If you are not familiar with perfectworld looking at the venomancer might help you think of an idea. Can't wait for the finished product, keep it up.

What about flore spell for the thrid one? Druids are nature mage... They can also use trees, and roots or other shit like this to make spells. That would be a great specialization I think.

I would say either something based around having multiple, weaker pets, or something based more around the player.

Hey everyone sorry for not doing anything with this mod and my other for so long but i have been traveling too much, and will be soon again (most of it is parents so not always where or when i want to go) but i will work on it as much as i can, thanks to everyone who is still hangin in!
