Relatively common issue. Navigate to your game's mod folder and see if anything related to the Enclave is in there. If you find nothing, the mod didn't download properly from the Steam workshop when you subscribed and you'll need to use Steamworkshopdownloader.com . If you find a file called "Fallout 3 - The Enclave.civ5mod" it means that the mod did download properly, but the game isn't unpacking it. The solution to get the game to unpack is to go to look for the file called "Civ5ModsDatabase.db" in another folder and delete it. After that, go into the game and open the mod menu and wait - the game will build a new one from scratch. Do note that it will also correct any inaccuracies - like if you have a mod downloaded that's been removed from the workshop, the game might delete it on you.

Mod is not showing in mods menu. Tried reinstalling it, doesn't work.

@Dustwalker Because all my mods are made in Brave New World, and some of them reference Brave New World coding. Some mods have unique units that replace the XCOM Squad or the Bazooka, which are both units added by the Brave New World expansion pack.

why does everything you make need brave new world?

@Celimbrimbor I don't know how. It's a very difficult and time-consuming process, and it takes a long time to learn and to master. Some modders, including myself, choose to pour their time and effort into developing the Civilizations themselves rather than making custom models. It's a very advanced skill reserved for only the most advanced modders.

Most mods that don't have custom models are just as well-received and downloaded as ones that do, which would indicate that most people don't mind that lack of custom models that much anyway.
Celimbrimbor 12 Jan, 2019 @ 3:18pm
Why didnt you make custom models?
Reaperunit 1 Jul, 2018 @ 7:16am
Yeah I would have loved a custom model for the vertibird too, however I hear its a huge pain in the ass to make those lol, but other than that awesome mod!!!
Guramy 29 Jun, 2018 @ 12:19am
Да все нормально в моде. Спасибо за мод.
uge boss 28 Jun, 2018 @ 7:38am
my only problem with this mod is the vertibird has no custome model otherwise this mod is really really good

@Usernamehere cheers to starting a game that shaped my love for all things mod related.

@Usernamehere You care about your work, I can respect that. :scroll:

I'm done. I just need to upload it and make the Steam post.

Right now though, I'm tweaking an icon that came out a bit blurry. I'm trying to improve the quality as best I can.
Emperor 13 Jun, 2018 @ 3:27pm
@Usernamehere Any progress? It's around 5:30 here.
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 5:55pm
@Usernamehere Ah, I see. I don't really know much about the inner workings of Civ-modding-tech. Thank you for clarifying that.
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 5:49pm
No.

I'm just simply going to make a third unique for the Enclave, independently optional. Turn it on, and the Enclave will get the Power Armor troops as a third unique. Keep it off, and the Enclave won't be able to build them.
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 5:47pm
@Usernamehere Aye, but wouldn't that replace a certain trooper of all civs?
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 5:42pm
Nope. The X-02 infantry mod will be completely independent of this one, released independently as a new workshop item, and this mod will be completely unaffected. The X-02 trooper add-on won't work unless this mod is downloaded and activated, though.

I'll get started either tonight or tomorrow. Expect it to be released on Friday, at the absolute latest.
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 5:19pm
@Usernamehere So to get it clear, do I have to install an alternate version of the mod my fellow man?
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:47pm
@Usernamehere You foresaw this through your crystal globe of excellence.
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:46pm
One more thing: You should know that I actually already took pictures of the various power armor sets in Fallout 3 in preparation for this moment. I've already got the X-02 icon that I'll need.
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:46pm
@Usernamehere Oof, sorry about that.
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:44pm
The Black Devil Power Armor is the X-02, yes. The X-01 is the one featured in Fallout 2, Fallout 4, and it's in New Vegas as the Remnants Power Armor.
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:44pm
The NCR mod has already been done, I don't have any immediate plans to make one myself.

As I said in the questions and answers section, this mod is more supposed to be the Fallout 3 iteration of the Enclave, and as iconic as the X-01 is, it's not in Fallout 3.

Not saying I won't do it, though.
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:43pm
@Usernamehere Regarding the earlier comment, what I am meaning is the Black Devil Power Armor, commonly used in Fallout 3.
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:40pm
@Usernamehere X-01 Seems a bit more iconic in the terms of the Enclave. Also, I do get what you're saying. If you were making an NCR mod, I think I would go with the following three things - Leader - Aaron Kimball. Unique Trait - "War Hawk" - +Expansion Bonus ( Don't know the balances, so not going to state the exact number ), and a Combat bonus in outer territory, which will encourage expansion since that's Aaron Kimball's main goal in New Vegas. Unique Unit - Veteran Ranger. Could be a replacement for the bazooka unit with the trait sniper which gives it one extra range. Unique Building - Checkpoint. Replaces trading post, adds a combat bonus for roads within borders. If you were looking for an idea that is.
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:30pm
Edit: I didn't include the Power Armor because I thought that the Vertibirds and Field Research Outposts would be more iconic. When I make my mods, I tend to go for uniques that people will recognize. For example, if I was making an NCR mod, I wouldn't want to make an NCR Vertibird as a unique unit that appears in one quest, I'd rather go for the famous NCR Combat Rangers, since they're the most recognizable.

But, like I said, I can add X-01 troopers, X-02 troopers, and even Hellfire troopers, as optional add-ons.
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:27pm
There's a way to make an add-on unique unit that can be optionally downloaded and activated without updating or affecting the original mod. I've done it twice already, and I can do it again. Once I'm finished here, I'll get to work making Enclave power armor troops as a unique unit.

Just to clarify, did you want the X-01 or the X-02...or both?
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:08pm
@Usernamehere You read my mind. I've been waiting on one for awhile, suppose it's my fault for never asking. You could change the UB to a Unique Wonder which allows you to produce them in a certain city if you think they are too powerful to be mass produced. Either way I would certainly appreciate it.
Usernamehere  [author] 12 Jun, 2018 @ 1:56pm
Do you want an X-01 trooper as a unique unit? I can do that.
Emperor 12 Jun, 2018 @ 1:43pm
I wonder why neither of the two Enclave mods feature a UU wearing X-01 Power armor or any of the sort.
Usernamehere  [author] 26 May, 2018 @ 2:29pm
More Fallout civs, including a few that have never been done before, are in development.
Archon 26 May, 2018 @ 11:09am
I love this mod. Are you going to make more Fallout civs? Not enough of them.
DragomirKingsman 23 May, 2018 @ 1:22pm
Hey, buddo. I'm really proud of you for making all sorts of cool shit like this and the CivCiv mod. I know I sound daddish, but I honestly think it's pretty awesome.
