No, Yuki, you can turn this mod on or off without affecting your character file.

Sure, you're welcome to use this and any of my other mods however you like in your own mods; just link back to the original.

Designed for multiplayer, actually. It only affects your character, not your pet(s) nor the rest of your party, so they can keep merrily whacking at monsters while you debate philosophy with the local Zeraphi.

does this work in multiplayer?

Again, they shouldn't be able to kill you, even if they did manage to target you somehow. Next time that happens, just let them attack for a while and you should see that they can't actually do lethal damage to you while the dialog's open.

They were attacking me with their tongue lash attack. I think the problem is that they're trying to pull me towards them and they can't. lol It's fine though... As you said, the healing on exit and my quick reading made things fine. And, this is the only enemy I've noticed this with. Thanks for the great mod.

They're probably not attacking you but an NPC or your pet. You can actually take splash damage from this, but they shouldn't be able to kill you while the dialog is up (this is the exact reason for the heal on exit). The reason for not doing a straight-up pause is so that this mod is still relevant in multiplayer.

This is a definitely a great mod, but I have a problem. The Blightslug Lashers (and their tongue attack) can still hurt me in Act 3 while I'm talking to sub-quest people. So far, that's been the only enemy that seems to ignore how this mod works.

Enchanters now keep you safe too! Let me know if there are any others I should include.

Sure, anyone's welcome to use it. I'd love to see it widely adopted so I can use it online!
