Tempting as it is to say yes, go for it that would be awesome gotta agree 90 degree arc makes more sense for men in formation, war wagons a turret on wheels which is why it gets the 360... but it would be awesome :-)

i think that besides the obvious balance concerns with that - a formation of 90 men like this would not be able to do that and be accurate at least

maybe you could make another mod that is like special forces and is like a 10 man group - dont know how that would work with the lore though

I was basically using these guys as a machine gun in the center of the line, as a rule they got around the same kills as a normal hand gun unit, but tended to live longer if I didn't manage to get them out of the charge range of enemies first

Yeah i changed my mind on the newer unit but am testing them at the moment to see how they fair. Once im satisfied ill update these guys but that might mean these guys will be cheaper as theres quite a large price difference between the two unit to accpunt for this.

the stats on both handguns and repeaters should be the same (excluding the missile damage and range) since they are the same unit only different guns, so apart from guns all the basic stats should be the same :)

Yea i want to ask that to. Since they base of ordinary handgunners do they get any bonus from pistolkorps and sharpshooter general skills? I have been woundering for a time if mod units get any general skill bonuses for a time now.

hey Ado, is there anyway you could create a second nuln unit? These guys with this exact armor set just a pistolier version of them? This unit has the coolest armor set ive ever seen in a mod. CA shouldve used this breastplate as the standard piece for all state troops. PLEASE lol.

Very nice mod, personally I like being able to have a large force of them. First, because it always seemed stupid that you could have as many outriders with repeaters as you like, but not any infantry. Second, because I use several mods that buff Chaos and Skaven to give the game more of an end-of-the-world amies-of-the-apocalypse feel, and frankly the regular handgunners just don't cut it anymore sometimes.

in game 3 i wanna do a empire unit mod which adds special units like this unique to each province :) and ill keep that lorefriendly :) ill add ROR aswell that arent in the game for empire and just give them a global recruit cap of 1. Stirland river patrol, drakwald patrols, swords of ulric etc etc

Currently using only an older overhaul I made from another wh1 mod - but you put in quite some effort in making yours.

Unique as in gameplay wise and different strategy alternative as i figured theyd be boring to use if they where equipped with handguns. I personally would prefer handguns myself but wanted them to be a more "special" unit that way it open up new possibilities for empire players and spice things up. Thanks for your critique :) i called them lorefriendly purely for their appearance.

@valky you can have unlimited Outriders with repeater rifles in vanilla, and they're cheaper than Ironsides (I think). So nothing lore-breaking here :)

All good i know they should have handguns but i wanted them to be unique :) ill release a version with handguns when i have a decent pc again.

No offense, but this ain't completely lore-friendly. Only the leading engineer - if attached - has the option to switch in between the repeater handgun, repeater rifle (= Von Meinkopt's Whirling Cavalcade of Death) or the Hochland Longrifle.
Ironsides still use better manufactured handguns but have the option to use mercurial ammunition; so basically the RoR-rifle.
Else, they are done fantastically and big kudos..but repeater rifles are a very rare sight on the battlefield and not easily given away to simple foot soldiers, even if better armored and/or trained.

(I'd also give them a slight increase in MA/MD, cause they are really elite)
