In my opinon the M231 is great if you want to kill those vector players in maps like Highway or Warehouse. Other than that it's an ok gun.

Its bad buying guns at levels 35 and under due to the fact that most higher ranking guns can disrupt a player's ablitiy to learn the game better. The MG3KWS for example, its pretty easy to get kills with it but the player must know how to be in a safe place and know the right useage of the weapon as 8 sec reaload is pretty damn long. I think it was 11 sec. As go for any of the FG guns, they provide a one-shot on torso anyware and sometimes walls (Wall Depth dependent) they also have a different bullet velocity of course as its a 50. cal. Best to learn the early weapons first and the later ones later. Also don't buy the M231 at a rank below 45, it will ruin your muscle memory when using other guns.

Now that controllable rocket launcher sounds like a fun idea when used with the Unholy Hand Greanade. Another way to get across the map.

If you do end up making a primary version, mind looking into how the binoculars display the distance? It'd be really neat having a scope that was slightly more functional.

This gun makes me happy. Maybe make the damage falloff more severe since it is a pretty short-barrel sniper and lessen the accuracy a bit (ooh, or add a gyroscopic drift term). Really love the balancing of reload time/bullet drop/ammo for the convenience of a secondary sniper.
