@troyramsey65 Fencing does not matter, once a cim passes into a park through a gate, he (should be) counted.

@NinjaMittens you could use BOB to remove the recycling bins and then use Prop Control to freely place them where you want arount it.

If cims enter the park because it's un-fenced, they do NOT count as visitors.

@KingLeno I'm getting zero park visitors using these gates (one main and a number of side gates off a zoneable pedestrian path), similar to what @aubergine18 reported, even though I can see many visitors walking directly through the gates I've placed. Do you know why the gates wouldn't be counting visitors?

Is there anyway that this could be used on an elevated walkway?
I thought of having these as an invisible pedestrian toll booth to enter a elevated walkway system.
Kinda how a few YouTube Let's Play people love using parks for people to walk around town in. Makes almost as much money as the vehicle toll booths.

This comment isn't really for this asset. I just had no other place that I could to leave a comment. But I Just wanna salute you and your great works. Im not from a college town per se but I copped your content pack. Your artwork is dope. Your the only one on the entire workshop that makes assets for the hood and your level 1 low resi's are A1. It reminds me of those midwest hoods (I'm thinking The Chi, Ohio and Detroit) that I've passed thru. Good to see the creators paying you but also paying u homage. Respect Bro...

This asset gives Park Life the full potential! Park Life requires a park gate for a park area, and the vanilla park gate naturally requires fences around the park (otherwise it looks odd for the gate to stand alone). With this invisible park gate, I can finally build fenceless parks which open up more possibilities - say, turning a beach into a park using the invisible park gate and invisible pedestrian paths so that people can walk along the beach!

@f23 @doncor I think some touch it versions are broke. Here's a tip tho, load this in the asset editor....change or delete the pedestrian path. Save it, and you can't have as many variants as you want!

yeah altho i just found out what was breaking my save games by causing out of range error, (a few gameplay days lost there) - it happens when you do what i suggested



so i guess we are left with decals, but yeah, definately need more versions! or just pure invisible gate, or with invisible road

i made it work with touch it, do gravel road underneath, then remove the aslphalt pedestrian road, but would be great to get the variants! props for great work btw of yours btw!

@aubergine18 maybe that's what the issue is then, they are using the park path to enter without paying. try moving the park path away from the street a little. i don't have access to my comp so i can't test
re: to the other gates, doesn't really make logical sense to not have a gate for amusement parks or zoo, but I guess it would be useful if you wanted to build your own gate in-game. I don't think i want to include a park path tho. personally it bugs me that you have to start off with one path, then change to another if you want to. even tho theres a mod to change

Yeah, that happens with the vanilla side gates - and also if you connect one of the park paths to a road, the cims will use that instead of main gate to get in without a ticket!

@KingLeno - could you do invisible versions of the other gates (eg. amusement park, nature trail, etc)? Would be good to have correct park path for each park type.

Hey. I want to report a bug. The gates doesn't count or charge people entering the park. I have it on all sides, with the old walk path.
