From the reveal of AoE 4 we will have at least regional units on it, so it seems they noticed the amount of people who use this mod

@IronRata Sadly it would be a very long way off. The best we can all do for now is continue to try to convince Forgotten Empires to give us regional units as paid DLC.

What do Africa, the Middle East and India have to do with each other? Aren't those units simply just Middle Eastern?

@Erlik_Han It won't work for the original campaigns as they're on the original data set. It will work for expansions campaigns.

@KrumStrashni I left regular cavalry archers as default, so this mod has no 26570s, but that's what you would use if you wanted to add them. Scouts, LC, and hussars are 26000s, 26610s, and 26620s. I use slp editor 2.9.3.

In general, what is the software you use to open those?

@KrumStrashni Horse archers should be 26570s and 26580s. Archers are 26500s, 26510s, and 26520s. Skirmishers are 26530s and 26540s.

I see, what a shame though, Slavic warriors look like hun warriors in real history, they were historicly connected. :(

@Angry_Bulgaria_Ball The way the civs are grouped is up to Saint_Michaels_ and his data mod. For now Slavs are stuff with the rest of Europe.

@a165 I'm not sure it can be done. It would at least require a new independent unit/architecture data mod for the base game. That would be more work than it's worth.

@WeAreGoyim I'm all for it. More people should jump in so we all have more options. I'd just throw in the [IU] tag in the title for searchability, and maybe put "Jaco's" for disambiguity.

@juicy Strange. There was someone else who couldn't get it to work either. I don't know what the problem could be. Are you saying you can get it to work if you go back to 5.7.4? I'd try copying it over to your mod_override folder and rerunning the installer. That should get it to work regardless.

Also its so amazing that the aesthetics of this timeless game are still improving. It would be awesome to have some variety in the ships so that they don't all look like European Galleons I wonder if whoever did the Byzantine Galleons knows how to change the others too. The ones that irk me the most are the New World civs... but not sure what could be done about their Navys short of completely re-working them to be more like they were in AOE3.
