Should the method be HasPolicy instead?

As of this date, just completed game with Central Africa as AI opponent. No apparent problems with play and no indication of any intrusive culture bug.

After upgrade, if enabled, this Civ does note appear among selection table during set up. Perhaps this unresolved bug is why. I have experienced this type of bizarre behavior in other Civ's (not JFD) once with engineering points and once with science. When reported, both were apparently fixed without difficulty. Hopefully this will be the case once JFD can review.

Don't download. Has ridiculous culture bug making the civ even if it is AI controlled very op. I really like the other JFD civs tho and most of them work but this one and the great mongolia civ don't function properly.

Sadly, after all this time and a brand new update, that pesky bug with culture is still there. One turn, I was getting around I had around 100 culture. The next, I had 107375629 culture! I don't even understand what happened, I just gained so much all at once! I was still gaining only around 150 culture-per-turn, I have no idea what could have caused this.

I do hope this gets figured out, as this civ looks so fun otherwise.

There is a bug when i played.The culture is locked at 25!

I recently played a game with this, hoping the culture bug has been fixed. It has not been, seeing as Bokassa still has many policy trees filled out before all players even have one. Looking through the files I am unsure as to what is causing this. I am hoping this gets fixed at some point, because I believe this mod has been broken longer than not, which is a sure shame.

I want to like this mod, I really do. I like unique Civs, but the culture glitch is just too overbearing and breaks the whole game experience. When you play it makes you ridiculously overpowered. I hope in the future this is patched, so I can resubscribe.

this mod is broken, i was on turn 175 with 11 social policies and bokassa already had 64 policies!!

works but too powerful. I don't know how but I had second most social policies at 8 and then he had 57!!!! and his score was double everyone elses. Plz fix!

Ludicrous: my civilization: 17 social policies. Central Africa: 64. It destroyed my game. Please fix that.

Culture is majorly borked in this mod. The threshold does not increase with each new policy purchased, so Central Africa is able to buy new policies at an unprecedented rate. Also, there is no JFD_X_UserSettings.sql file as per the description above.

i havent even finished my first policy tree and central africa (ai) already has 17 policies (2nd most is 7)

Play note: have not experienced the Policy problems noted below. However, the garrisoned Imperial Guard did not increase lenght of Captal's LKD or trigger LKD in other (garrisoned) cities.

Something was causing Central Africa to generate Culture too fast. In other Words I could not Enact Policies fast enough to keep up with the Technology Tree. And then I can't End the Turn because the stupid Game wants me to Pick a new Policy after I have already Unlocked all the Ones available to me.

Is it deliberate that the icon used for Central Africa in the leader select screen, and the alpha icon used to mark Central African cities ingame, are different?

@Silverfishv9 I actually forgot that it hadn't been publicly released yet. However, you are welcome to try the beta on my discord, which includes Festivals. However, since JFDLC is currently undergoing a re-write, its essentially just CiD at the moment. If you accept my friend invite, I'll PM the link to my beta development Discord, if you're interested. I do plan on releasing the CiD-only version of JFDLC publicly once I finish my exams, though.

Wait, does the mention of festivals in the JFDLC version mean that the modpack has been updated (to possibly include the festivals/great entertainers mod)? If so that's great to hear!
