Cmon man do this mod and the 50% version specifically since it's the most balanced, update it to DE we really need this and you are our only champion, please.
Digan 10 Jul, 2019 @ 6:06pm
Yeah, Definetly armor system standalone would be much needed for DE XD
Cyfagy 20 Apr, 2019 @ 1:40pm
DE Version Please :)

MAKE DE PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Kalavinka  [author] 18 Feb, 2019 @ 9:05am
Currently, my focus is on a combat overhaul mod that removes the armour system. I may work on this after depending on reception. I do not have much free time.

Re "lost most of the files for this mod", how? I ask because if it's something like your old hard drive failed there are experts who can recover data when we couldn't even get a computer to recognise the drive.
SilentKnight 23 Nov, 2018 @ 10:44pm
Pleeeeeeeeease make a DE version. Pretty Pllllllllllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Freezelight 12 Oct, 2018 @ 2:38pm
I would even buy this mod for DE, its much better then other fixes for armor system.

High Voltage 25 Sep, 2018 @ 5:15am
does this work with de?
Bendy 5 Sep, 2018 @ 4:03pm
awww man i miss my hybrid builds
Gwazi Magnum 5 Sep, 2018 @ 7:27am
So basically we do damage to HP once the lower of the two armours are down? I'll probably use the 30% bloat then, thanks! This opens up a lot of combos! ^_^
Kalavinka  [author] 5 Sep, 2018 @ 7:14am
Regardless of armor and health values, magic damage drains physical armor and vice versa.

For example: On a foe with 40 PA, 0 MA and 50 HP, dealing 19 fire damage will do 19 damage to HP and remove 19 PA. The enemy will be left with 21 PA, 0 MA and 31 HP.
Gwazi Magnum 5 Sep, 2018 @ 7:08am
What happens when one armour is at 0 and the other isn't? Does the damage carry over to health? Or do we need to eliminate both armour types before health can be damaged?
Kalavinka  [author] 4 Sep, 2018 @ 7:04am
That's the issue - I lost most of the files for this mod.
Zlash 4 Sep, 2018 @ 6:56am
Black Battler can you upload the files to a dropbox folder so someone else here can do it if you dont have time?
Sora12 3 Sep, 2018 @ 3:49pm
Love your mods, plz, put this one to DE, or the 50% version, miss my hybrid builds
Freezelight 3 Sep, 2018 @ 6:54am
I'm looking forward to this mode for DE. Just tested it in vanilla and the game started to shine. Thanks for the work you've done.
Zlash 3 Sep, 2018 @ 3:33am
Thats too bad Black Battler. This mod was the reason I wanted to start playing DOS2 again because until I saw this mod I had been so heavily annoyed with the restrictive play model that the physical/magical armor forced me into.

I sincerily hope you will reconsider making this a priority :)
Kalavinka  [author] 3 Sep, 2018 @ 1:47am
Not likely soon. I have a busy job now and I lost some files. My priority is the more popular mods I've made.
Bendy 2 Sep, 2018 @ 8:27pm
Will you be converting this to definitive edition?
Kalavinka  [author] 4 Jul, 2018 @ 8:10am
I'm glad to hear this mod's inspired you to give the game another go! Even with its flaws - and it has some glaring ones like the one you mentioned - this is easily my favourite game of 2017/2018. It's great to know I've made the game more palatable to people who take issue with the armor system like I do.
Swiss Fondue 4 Jul, 2018 @ 8:04am
I stopped playing because of this bloody strange Vanilla "armor concept". Just did not make any sense to me and prevented usefull hybrid teams. Now I will give it another try. Thank you very much for this mod !

This bug was discovered a few days ago and a fix was released just yesterday. I suggest disabling the mod, loading your game, saving your game, exiting, re-enabling the mod and loading your game again.

It's possible Windego was missed, however. I'm only aware the issue was fixed with Fire Slugs.
deadinside 7 Jun, 2018 @ 10:46am
some enimies seem to not be affected by the damage to their other armor. I just fought windeago or whatever her name is and phyisical only affected her phyisical armor. I know the mod is still on because my magic and physical armor is being taken off. This is twice this has happened so far. Reloading doesn't seem to fix it.
Kalavinka  [author] 3 Jun, 2018 @ 1:07pm
I've heard some reports that it lags when using the ABST compatibility patch, but you shouldn't need that for ABST in and of itself. There's also a chance the ABST modder overwrote the DefaultCharacter script, making it incompatible. It's worth a shot.
Daeharde Trihardt 3 Jun, 2018 @ 12:29pm
Thanks for the suggestion, I'm considering adding on "https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1157299447"

Think they'll play nice?
Kalavinka  [author] 29 May, 2018 @ 7:21am
@Daeharde Trihardt

You flatter me! As for your question, you may wish to take my answer with a pinch of salt, but both are equally "balanced" since the AI gains similar benefits. It's up to you whether you feel physical and magical based attackers should have the same weight on armour or if you should need to work a bit harder to make hybrid parties work with 50% damage duplication.

I personally fall under the former category, but it's up to player preference. If you can't decide, I recommend trying out 100% first alongside the 30% armor bloat mod.
Daeharde Trihardt 28 May, 2018 @ 5:21pm
A question to both the hilarious mod author and the kind fanbase of Divinity; of whom has playtested this, which version feels more balanced? 100% or 50%?
Hieronymous 28 May, 2018 @ 11:39am
Woohoo! Thanks!
Kalavinka  [author] 28 May, 2018 @ 3:43am
The real question here is "Black Battler, are you too much of a scrub to know how to clone your mod and make an alternate version of it in the Divinity Engine 2?"

... Until 30 minutes ago, the answer was "yes", but times have changed.

Here you go.
Hieronymous 27 May, 2018 @ 5:56pm
Interesting. Would you consider making a version where only a certain percentage of damage crosses over?
