This mod isn't strictly needed, correct (unless a modders hasn't updated his mod with our API (yet), though if he writes that it synergizes, he has done that). It adds another feature. See the description of the collection.

Hmm, his latest update says '"CGM: Buildings" synergizes with this mod' maybe this patch isn't needed anymore.

I removed the science lab block from your mod and it seems to work fine. I think the patch was adding it back in, but I don't fully understand how overwrites work and such.

Yeah thanks. I've already heard about this problem. I try to sort stuff as it would be done in Stellaris, but there seems to be something wrong here. Will have to check at the weekend (am currently away)

I can see and build the basic science lab on my homeworld when i turn on this particular patch.
