So how about a search and rescue/ambulance shuttle? It'd have to be small enough to search wreckage, but large enough to support at least a few cryo pods, and ideally transition to atmospheres independently.
Two questions for you: if I wanted to convert one of these designs into a Marine boarding ship variant, and another into a medical support/hospital ship, which vessels would you think the T.N.F. would use for those purposes, in the absence of dedicated designs? I'm thinking about setting up a mission with your storyline/ships as a theme, so I can learn how to design scenarios.
I'm glad that you enjoy the blueprints!
@garageagle: I see, I'll have a look at it, perhaps a carrier where all the pilots are inside controlling fighters designed to be remote controlled. Glad you like the Fleet!
@sandroinorge: Not by design, no. There is no easy way to get to them from inside the ship, and they have no seats nor propulsion. But if you can somehow attach yourself to them, they can get you safely to the ground on a planet with an atmosphere.
