If you are talking about VR, it is already implemented in the 2.4. Version, but currently only works in browser environments.
in the 2.4 Version I also implement some subtile 3D offset for each level.
You can find more details on the Github releases page about that :)
If you still experience issues afterwards with only this wallpaper, please post again in the Discussion: "Problems / Issues / Bugs ⚠️".
Also, @Harys essentially, the Points 3D position will always be "random" and not directly influenced by the music, even though it might seem like it.
However you can define a "starting seed number" for the random generator, then it should over time produce roughly the same shapes repeatedly.
The only thing influenced by the music is the particle size, color and movement speed from back to front.
I hope that explains/helps a bit :) cheers
I am sorry that you cannot get the wallpaper configured in a satisfying way.
Another user (PIKLE) already made a similar suggestion in the "New Features" discussion, and I have gone ahead and created a github-issue for it: https://github.com/hexxone/audiorbits/issues/9
Unfortunately as I've mentioned to other users before, this Steam version of the Wallpaper is unfortunately quite old and has technical limitations.
For me it is no longer feasible to make modifications to it, as the entire code has already been reworked. It will only be possible to add the feature in the future, and when "Wallpaper Engine" no longer has these technical limitations.
More details can be found in the beta-release page: https://github.com/hexxone/audiorbits/releases/tag/2.4-beta1
ive been trying diligently to get this wallpaper aligned and i just cant seem to find a way to make it..
my setup= two stacked ultrawide monitors + a vertical monitor on the left side----
im trying to make the render begin and end on the center of my lower ultrawide.. it just will not stay - ive moved things around in the code, ive made chrome move it over-
the only *very temporary* fix, is to blow the resolution past my monitors ... but 1) the quality is stretched hard - and 2) anything that interrupts the wallpaper makes it reset back to its original "center"
im ripping my hair out trying to make this work,, but its just not happenin
this wallpaper will look SO so so SOSO amazing with it aligned right with alllllllllllllll this screenspace.
please, if anyone has any direction, i would the most appreciative.
Release me
Thank you for your kind words about the wallpaper. I'm delighted to hear that you’re enjoying it.
Unfortunately, in the current version (2.3) on Steam, it is not easily possible to stop the AudiOrbits text from appearing when the presets change. This version is quite old and has limitations. More information can be found on github regarding that.
However, if it really bothers you and you feel comfortable with some basic tech adjustments, you can modify the wallpaper’s HTML file on your local PC to remove/hide the text. Please keep in mind that any changes you make might get lost if steam updates etc.
Go to: \steamapps\workshop\content\431960\1396475780, open the "index.html" and put style="opacity: 0" on the txtholder element.
Thanks again for your feedback and happy customizing!
This is an amazing wallpaper. My favourite by far. I have a question though. Is there a way to stop the AudiOrbits 2.3 text that comes up when the presets change? I have a long playlist set to randomly update every minute so I see it a lot.
Thanks!
Please just link either to the github project or this page. Thanks!
P.S.: I should give a small warning: the usual YouTube Video Bitrate and Compression settings will severely impact the final quality. Especially if you have a lot of movement speed / color changes etc. ^^ be aware
@Heisenberg To remove the Warning you can un-check the "Seizure Warning" under Miscellaneous Settings.
