@verybigcat In theory, it shouldn't matter unless another mod is affecting the weight of bodies.

Does it matter where this should go in the load order?

Thank you for this amazing mod that I have included in "Kenshi: The World Divided". This Mod Collection has been fully tested and works perfectly. Thank you again for the great mod to add to this collection. :steamhappy: Timesplitter.

@CHerman dude you just got scienced

@CHerman: While that is true, just for the record, any person can lift an object of much higher mass in a lower gravity environment, because the force due to gravity acceleration is what resists the force of lifting. F = ma: if you reduce the acceleration due to gravity, then the force of that same mass goes down, meaning that a weaker person can lift a heavier object. This is the same reason why you can jump six times higher on the moon. =)

Havok tends to severely underestimate gravity in general, and many of the animals and structures would collapse under their own weight in earthlike gravity, so a reasonable argument *could* be made that the colony's gravity is lower than Earth's. But yeah, at least as played straight in the game (running speed, lack of jumping), 60 kg is much better balance.

and what abut the animals ?
Cherman 18 Mar, 2019 @ 2:10pm
Kilograms is mass, not weight, and is constant regardless of gravity.

The_Twick that makes sense

Maybe Kenshi exists on a planet with lesser gravity? /s

Sure. No problem at all.

Hi there, I am the Community Manager at NexusMods.com . I was wondering whether I could have your permission to post your excellent mod on NexusMods.com so more players (especially people who have the GOG version of Kenshi) can enjoy your mod.

I would ofc credit you and, if you have a Nexus Mods account, I could transfer ownership of the mod page over to you. Let me know either way.

Thanks!

IIRC, all bodies weigh the same, including animals. So, yes this would increase the weight of animals, but not to realistic levels. Unfortunately, the last time I looked at the mod system there was only one universal body weight modifier. Hopefully sometime in the future there will be more differentiation.

I've seen in a video a guy who picked up his bull and was running around. That just broke my immersion and i need to fix it. Does this mod change the weight of animals?

I'm terrified to get this because I have a hard ENOUGH time keeping everyone alive after a rough fight, but... I pretty much have to, now that I've read the description. Curse you!

Thanks for all of the great comments, everybody! Hopefully, I can get back to Kenshi soon. I've been working on my backlog of games for the last few months. I'll definitely be looking for more things to tweek when I start it up again.

This is one of my favourite mods

@Injen this weight is a single global variable in the FCS and is not customizable per-race as of now, sadly.
Injen 26 Aug, 2018 @ 4:31am
nice one.
would be great a bit randomize weigh for different races :)

The weight of carrying somebody is something I didn't realise was actually bothering me until finding this mod in the workshop. Thank you for making and sharing this!
