@oshawotta737 These models, no, they don't auto-reverse. We'll have to wait until bsquiklehausen updates them, similar to what he did with the "modern" CityLink trains recently (they now feature auto-reversing engines).

For now, though, I guess just use AVO to replace the last car with a locomotive on these classic trains if you want.

@bsquiklehausen is there a way make these trains auto-reverse? Also, I can't wait for your new content creator pack!

@bsquiklehausen I can't wait! They will be amazing!

@oshawotta737 - These will also be updated at some point in the future.
oshawotta737 30 Sep, 2021 @ 7:54pm
@bsquiklehausen Have you thought about updating these to have unique bells/horns/sounds that use extra vehicle effects like some of your newer trains do?
SCHUYKILL3 8 Nov, 2020 @ 9:31am
does this work on inter city trains too?
CruelBus 31 Oct, 2019 @ 12:16am
@bsquiklehausen absolutely, and email sent
bsquiklehausen  [author] 30 Oct, 2019 @ 5:40pm
@CruelBus - Feel free to convert them for your own personal use but please do not upload anything based on my assets without first emailing me at hello at bsquiklehausen dot com.

@NewMasterChoco - Me too on the RAM upgrade. I have most of bisquik's stuff and working on something a little different with it.
@bsquiklehausen - do you mind if I go through a bunch of your stuff and convert it for a special project? I'll be sure everyone knows where I got the assets from.
NewMasterChoco 3 Jun, 2018 @ 5:14pm
@bsquiklehausen OK. I do use Loading Screen Mod and whenever I run my game, it uses little over the half of my system's RAM (near 9.0 GB of 16). Thinking of RAM upgrade soon in the future.
bsquiklehausen  [author] 3 Jun, 2018 @ 5:03pm
@NewMasterChoco - the files are large here because it duplicates tons of textures for the download. Use Loading Screen Mod and your RAM impact will be a small fraction of the download size.
NewMasterChoco 3 Jun, 2018 @ 4:46pm
Holy cow! Is this asset really that big for download/subbed?
Doug 2 Jun, 2018 @ 1:33pm
Alright

@S N A S - I'll have modern versions of the Superliners coming out soon.
Doug 2 Jun, 2018 @ 8:02am

Doug 2 Jun, 2018 @ 8:01am
Can you make the superliner?

I remember as a little kid in the 90's riding this very particualr train in the 3rd image. Nice work.

@landandskygirl - You'll actually have a better Coast Starlight with my Long Distance Passenger Train asset - this one will represent the Starlight between the late 1970s and mid 1990s, while the other one is it from ~2005 to today.
Amayasnep 28 May, 2018 @ 11:38am
Hey it's the Coastal Starlight! I rode that train just a year ago. Still going strong.
Blujitsu 28 May, 2018 @ 11:22am
I refreshed at the right time. Except now I have to go outside and wait for a description.

I have a lot of nostalgia for the EMD F40PHs. They were still the backbone of the Amtrak fleet when I was a kid.
