I didn't even realize these were vehicles since it lacked the tag, can't miss these anymore.

@IndyTransplant Are you using AVO to prevent the trains from spawning? If so, then I'm not sure what's going on there. I use AVO to "block" these trains from spawning on one of my maps and have not seen them at all.

Don't know if maybe you have another mod that's conflicting with AVO or not.

If you don't have AVO, though, then maybe give it a try, see if that keeps them from spawning...?

@CommanderHobo87 I'm having the opposite problem. I only wanted the props. I have all of the vehicles turned off, but long trains keep spawning. I even went around and deleted all existing trains on the map, but I watched one appear at one of my own stations, not just pull in.

@shive1964 in CS, go to Content Manager > Assets. Search for Retro, look for the train assets that are marked as "Vehicle", not "Prop". Make sure the "On / Off" box is filled in blue. If they're on, load up your city and then just wait (sometimes it takes a while for them to spawn).

While not required, the Advanced Vehicle Options mod does help verifying the asset it loaded. It's also handy if you don't want the vanilla trains to spawn in (you can disable them in AVO).

Late to the party (almost 2 years), I know, but figure'd I'd add this in case anyone else gets the vehicle effects parsing error message you got.

It turned out there were 2 extra "</Vehicles>" closing tags present in the VehicleEffectsDefinition XML about halfway down. There should only be one of those closing tags at the very bottom of the file.

<Steam install directory>\steamapps\Workshop\content\255710\1397356782\VehicleEffectsDefinition.xml, you can open it in Notepad and delete the extra tags.

CAUTION! Make sure you only delete the 2 extra "</Vehicles>" (plural) in the MIDDLE of the file, not the "</Vehicle>" (singular) tags that are scattered throughout nor the "</Vehicles>" at the very bottom as those are required.

TrailerRetroAltaMixed2 Prop You have Workshop item 1397356782 but it does not contain TrailerRetroAltaMixed2 Prop. Name probably changed by the asset author.

I have several of your train packs but this one throws an error upon loading.

Not sure whats wrong, again I have several of your train packs and have no issues with the others so something may be off here.

@AnimusNeco - no. Assets do not freeze gameplay, even ones where I forgot to import a texture map and have been too busy to fix for over a year!

Hello sir Train.

I have weird issues with these trains. https://i.imgur.com/AItw0Ow.jpg As you can see.

Some of your retro train boxcars(?) looks like that in the screenshot. They have white bright glow at night time. When it's daytime there is no issues at all. I'm not sure if it's random or happens with certain stuff. I just wanted to tell you about it so you can fix it if there is anything really to fix. :)

Otherwise. I love these trains. All of them. Beautiful!

The trains in this pack don't seem to recieve the effects of Extra Vehicle Effects. The effects mod is active, and several of your trains that are not in this pack have demonstrated custom sounds and ditch light effects, but not the ones in this pack. Any ideas?

Hey, gonna use ur flatbed cars for my military train, if you dont mind? Gonna try to make one, tanks only, like in a tank factory, also one mixed as in military transport with different vehicles?
Honestly, i dont know anything about this so ill try to learn as i go, but these cars seem like a nice platform.

@The Cadet Airman - The runways are already numbered correctly, and the taxiway letters are all correct, but we keep forgetting to say the phonetics and just say the letter. THanks for the reminder!

Ps runway numbers use a compass rose and it depends on the angle og the runway so if you runway is at a 290 degree angle the one end at 290 would be 29

btw with FBS when you do runway names the letters are with the phoetic alphabet, EX a is alpha b is bravo c is charlie ect.

Looks pretty nice. Only problem is that one of the cars that's used on a couple of the trains (its a hopper car I thing) has glitched textures, so it shows up glowing white at night. Other than that, I'm loving these trains!

@The Cadet Airman - a GE AC4400CW? I have them available in multiple American Freight Train packs and trains. If you mean a GE 44 ton switcher, probably not for a while if ever. It's unique, but not well suited for Cities Skylines.

@Brandon - part of the large size is that it uploads textures more than once. Loading Screen Mod will make it use far less RAM than the download size, since it's smart enough to realize that you can share textures.

Amazing! As if I needed more freight car variations, but I'll take them... I'll have the best railyard ever! Also being that this is the size of some map themes I was reluctant, but went into my Loading screen log and saw that I am only using 51% of my RAM per load... So I can't complain!
