Blindrun
Ha! This is a really cool chamber. I know it’s not your original, but this is one of my favorites from you. Just the right difficulty, and very clever. Loved trying a few different things and eventually finding the solution. It’s a good variation on the classic laser/fizzler type with a couple other added elements to spice things up.

Difficulty: 5/10
Enjoyed: 8/10

Incredible puzzle!

Whoa I played it back then but never thought that in two years it would feel like "easy".

Damn! That's an amazing puzzle! Eerything fits together so nicely, it's compact but challenging, yet the layout points the player to the right solution, but also there are many portalable surfaces and many ways to shuffle all the testing elements. It's what any mapmaker should be trying to achieve. Thumbs up and favotited.

Awesome!

I don't want to encourage remakes, especially copied almost verbatim.
Nobody No-One 8 Mar, 2019 @ 6:54pm
@Joric and yet you didn't add it to favorites?
Joric 2 Mar, 2019 @ 8:11am
Instant love. My 1-minute: https://youtu.be/8jLg3fvv-T4 flawless map.

Very fun map, nice job packing two sequences so naturally into such a small map

My solution: demo solution [www.dropbox.com]
I used 8 portals.

I got so jumbled up the first time I tried, but I'm glad I didn't check the solution on this one!

@Personne, don't worry – you'll get better at solving these kinds of puzzles. If you're new to these kinds of somewhat difficult logical chambers, I'd recommend checking out RedSilencer's collection "Introduction to the Workshop" that contains several easy-medium difficulty maps from good map creators to get you used to the kind of thinking style that would be found in these kinds of maps:

First advanced community test chamber, get stuck, needed to watch vids of comments, feel dumb.

My below comment says that that's also fine.

Great alternative remake of a brilliant puzzle. My solution's slightly different to @jgaultney's, i.e. alternative or unintended solution ?
jandlml 31 May, 2018 @ 9:03pm
great map, im so out of it today i needed a hint there in the middle.
Gigo  [author] 31 May, 2018 @ 12:11pm
Thanks for the video; that's intended :)

I don't think it's necessary to patch your unintended solution since you said you needed to do it quickly.

There's technically 2x2=4 different ways of doing the part near the end: position the cube either by the gel dropper or by the laser emitter and aim it at either catcher before going back to the bridge area

A very good puzzle! I think my final solution is intended. https://youtu.be/xJqLvcBUWWA
As I do all too often, I did the first part of this map the hard way before seeing/doing it the easy
way in the video. :steamfacepalm:
In my blind run, I stood next to the gel dropper with the cube and laser and
(very, very quickly) manually placed the cube to disable the fizzler then rapidly fired two
portals (while the gel was still falling) to get gel on the first location.
:steamfacepalm:

Very nice remake! Not as hard as the original in my opinion (or maybe I just grew more experienced since I played it) but still quite challenging. Thanks for sharing!

Nice. Thumbs up.

ty :)
Nui♥Harime™ 30 May, 2018 @ 5:05pm
Solved it. I knew that I had to cover the light bridge with bounce gel as soon as I entered the chamber. Nevertheless, very clever and satisfying puzzle. Thumbs up Gig!
