* Go to Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\"many numbers here"\"more numbers"
* Find your old mod normally a "numbers_legacy.bin".
* Copy it to a the Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod
* Open it with Winrar on 7Zip...
* Copy the mod descriptor.mod
* Open the mod descriptor.mod and copy the ligne archive here something like addonmisc.zip
* Rename the "numbers_legacy.bin" and the mod descriptor like that :
- "numbers_legacy.bin" = "addonmisc.zip"
- "descriptor.mod" = "addonmisc.mod"
* Unsubcribe steam mod.
Now you have a local mod
Try it, your eyes will thank you.
I don't think that's entirely true, because I have previously unsubscribed and resubscribed to these mods while trying to fix issues like this, and still managed to make it work. Sure, the launcher refused at first, but after mucking about with mod_registry.json and dlc_load.json files, deleting them several times, it worked out. I don't exactly know what I did as I didn't document it in my frustration, but it isn't impossible.
It should be pointed out that the mod author has been gone since October, with no signs of returning any time soon.
If you're using pre-1.29 mods (like this one) they show up twice. One as local, one as steam. The steam version does not work. Enable the local one.

It works at my workstation at work but wont do it here at home ...
Any ideas on what I could do ?
I appreciate the reports! Thanks and I'll handle this as soon as possible (if the unit files are locked behind GC, might be slightly longer, but I'll do what I can as soon as I can).
Thanks for letting me know! I'll check that shortly & try to properly resize them.
Thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately I don't have access to the required files at the moment, so it may be a short while before I can properly shrink them, but I'll do what I can.
We're *finally* updated to 1.28, sorry for that delay.
Technically, in theory, yes. Though some Dharma units are not yet resized (finally able to fix this as of ~5 days ago, so as soon as I get time, I'll update & make absoultely sure no other issues showed up).
The update should be fully saved-gamed compatible when it arrives, though.
The mandate of this addon, perhaps slightly misleadingly considering the name, is to fix the sizes of various units, items & borders. Anything water-related would very likely break compatibility with a lot of other mods. On the plus side, this mod is in theory compatible with other graphics mods which do alter water.
Or replace it?
You'll have to forgive me, as I don't have the unit pack myself yet, so that probably explains how I missed them! I'll try to find a way to properly scale the new units as soon as I can.
Well that is... not good. Yeah, I'll have to sort that immediately.
"Screwy"? I was hoping for unaffected =/, but thanks! I'll put updating this at a higher priority.
1.27 soon.
Though this one will work even if outdated, in theory with no issues.
Cheers! =D I do what I can.
It does, sadly.
Thanks for the suggestion! I agree that things tend to look a bit too busy, especially when zoomed out. I'll see if I can find where that variable is, and if possible, adjust it.
just if you could make those green/blue/red boxes smaller and more simlistic. maybe have the morale bar on the bottom and horizontal too.
Thanks for the suggestion. I opted for making them small, but growing with tech, though I might have taken it too far. I'll take another look soon.
Adds some "weight" to the map, makes it bigger
Alright, first real update is up, including some more (mild) resizing and introducing some changes to zoom as I continue to try to perfect the balance.
Well that is me told. I somehow missed the stupidly obvious variables, thanks =D. Yeah, I'll increase zoom slightly soon, and possibly further tweak sizes & such to look "just right".
