Hate them so much in real life that not even a fake Cities human deserves to experience them. However, they look beautiful *thumbs up*

@DieselPoweredGerbil Prop snapping do you have? Try check options of the mod (there are only 2 features). Maybe this could be problem.

Hi! I've tried doing this with MoveIt! and the Page Down key (with Alt held) and it does not work for me. The prop does not seem to want to go below what (I assume) is "ground" level?
feedmepaperr 25 Nov, 2018 @ 3:30am
Why tho?

@King Damuncha: Use Move it (PageDown; while holding Alt key, you can have smoother moves), props at sunken roads work like this.

The speed bumbs dont sit on the road, (the road is 0.3 below pavement) so the bumps sit at 0.0 and theres a gap between the speed bump and teh road

@Tv I just use TM:PE to reduce speed of the road segment where I place the speed bump - seems to work well. Cars will slow down on approach to the segment, making it look like they are slowing down for the speed bump. And afterwards they'll speed up again (assuming following road segment is back to normal speed).

@Tv Sorry for late reply... Was talking with some people and we think there isnt way, at least yet.
@aubergine18 Thanks! Its still my most favourite item.

These fit fantastically well, when submerged, on the tiny road from NeXT. I've been putting them on dangerous parts of the road through my mountains to warn drivers of sharp turns and steep slopes.

@AJRmayor Thanks, I was curious as to whether it would even work. The vanilla game appears to only uses road condition in a very basic manner, so the practical applications of this concept may be somewhat limited. There would have to be a way of preventing the road maintenance crew from "fixing" the speed bumps!

@Tv thanks for this, i try look at that, but cant promise anything.
@Dimensional One: thanks much, i really appreciate!

Finally a speed bump I'm not going to curse at.. great addition.
Tv 4 Jun, 2018 @ 5:21pm
@AJRmayor The Snowfall DLC introduced road maintenance. In vanilla C:S it allows for faster speeds on maintained/cleared roads for winter maps. Traffic Manager: President Edition extends that to all maps and factors in dry vs wet roads as well (https://www.viathinksoft.de/tmpe/wiki/index.php?title=Road_condition_has_a_bigger_impact_on_vehicle_speed) . I wonder if speed bumps could be set as "unmaintained" so that the game slows traffic around them.

@ᏕᏗᏁᎴᎩᏋᎶᎶᎧ 😠 Have you tried these: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1189863348 by @Ronyx69 ?
jPRO93  [author] 4 Jun, 2018 @ 12:31pm
@Tv Its interesting idea, but i am not sure how it would work..
Tv 4 Jun, 2018 @ 12:58am
I don't know if this is possible, but it would be really cool if the bumps could be assigned a lower road "quality" (ie the road service factor) and have that slow traffic.

Pic reminded me to look for 80s Fords for a build I have.... Where's the Escorts?! Cosworths? XR2s? Sapphires, Granadas, Capris, Cortinas? ... Saddened.

Arnold J. Rimmer, Bsc. Ssc- Well the vanilla roads won't allow for sidewalk ramps, I was kind of thinking a prop version custom sidewalk for roads without sidewalks to include the ramps and curves, kind of like how you place it. I could just make custom roads with plain street roads or dirt roads and add black asphalt on top of that, it does allow pedestrian foot traffic though.

I mean obviously the regular roads won't work with it, but it's just a cool idea i had for customization roads.

Thanks @MrMiyagi and @notDONEyet! I really appreciate!
jPRO93  [author] 2 Jun, 2018 @ 9:36am
@ᏕᏗᏁᎴᎩᏋᎶᎶᎧ 😠 How exactly you mean it? I know it can be done at nodes (what i plan). This is non sunken road.
MrMiyagi 2 Jun, 2018 @ 7:24am
I love the wear detail, so realistic!
SogDexFogDucker 2 Jun, 2018 @ 5:05am
great finish, but i wish someone would make sidewalk ramps, that would be epic
notDONEyet 2 Jun, 2018 @ 3:29am
amazing
