I set it to ultra, played a siege battle, and by the time it was over the walls were literally soaking with massive pools of Bretonnian blood from the slaughter my Norsca unleashed on them.
Blood now appears on the ground more frequently but not as much as what I see in this mod’s pictures. The bigger splotches only seem to occur when a unit is hit by artillery/explosions.
I’m not sure if that’s the intended effect of this mod or this is what the vanilla blood and gore looked like (can’t remember at this point), but I can live with this.
Next battle I’ll switch it to ultra and see what happens then.
Is it imperative that I add the downloaded file to the data folder AFTER I’ve subscribed to the mod?
Does a specific graphics setting need to be set at ultra?
Does this not work with CBE 3.8 and/or the proper effects submod?
I was using the blood add on as well for CBE and liked the lessened blood on the units but I wasn’t happy with the severe lack of blood/gore on the ground.
I switched it off and tried this one.
Now I’ve got bloodied units only.
Because I downloaded the file and I’m not seeing blood on the ground at all.
Makes the battles so much better looking!
