i cannot get the items to spawn even through commands now. which is unfortunate because the sound from the DMR is amazing. Is there an issue with the latest version of the game thats causing the failure to spawn?

No offense taken. I appreciate your concern. My models are a bit high poly yes, but only 3x the amount of nelsons models. It really shouldn't have a performance impact. However, if I did every detail of the guns I was making to their exact specification, then a mere 10 of them would crash even beefy computers because the unity engine isn't optimized for it. Believe me, I kept performance in mind when making these models since I don't want it to be unpopular based on lag. If it makes you feel any better however, Mac users may experience performance loss, but that's because it's a mac. Who seriously expects anything good out apple. Also windows users running no graphics card will experience the same issue. At that point, it doesn't really matter

scaling is pretty bad. Half of VSV goes underground when non-equiped. Guns looks awesome though :)

Ofcourse you will, people primarily play Unturned with very low end rigs.
People will hang these on gun racks, they'll spawn in the world, they'll drop by the 10's in large gun fights, etc etc.

If you're sacrificing performance balance for model quality that's fine, but say that instead of making up some thruthless argument, no offense intended.

Oh it's performance balanced for sure. True it doesn't fit the game, but you won't lag out unless you spawn 1000 of them at once

I'm not using that purely because it looks VERY off from the rest of the game and I don't think you know what "performance balancing" is.
