Guys and gals...just use historical for buildings that you don't want transforming. You get the same results but additionally the benefits of full upgrade/leveling up.

@PhazezGova -- This is for growables and it works well for me. You cannot downgrade levels, as the game was not designed to "grow" backwards. If that occurs in the regular game, it doesn't actually downgrade a buildings current level. It deletes the building and starts fresh.

The mod by himself work great, i can select the level i want for my district or individual building.

BUT... I Can't open my district policies with this mod on. Anyone have this bug?

Now that Vehicle wealthizer ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1633580257 ) is working, it would be cool to determine the car park in certain districts.

it seems that builing level: 1 = low wealth, 2-3 = medium, 4-5 is high wealth.

Therefore strict control over the building levels would allow to make slum districts look like slum districts (no ferraris) and with only a few houses at level 4 and higher for the high end cars.

Problem is that a lot of workshop buildings are level 4 and higher..

I wish it would not do this:
"If you select a lower level than the actual level of the building it will be bulldozed after a while."

it would allow for full control of the wealth levels in your city...

somils it is easy use plop the growbles with no abandonment mod. You will plop for example lvl 3 growable house and it will stay at lvl 3 no matter what. You can know (thats to historical building option) click on this house and upgrade it to level 5 and the house will keep the same look when you plopped it.

After subscribing to this mod, the fps floats at 10~16, and after canceling the subscription, it recovers 60fps. I don't know what the reason is. I haven't found a replacement for this mod yet.

I just published an alternative mod that allows you to make all buildings in a district historical:

It uses the built in "historical" functionality, which means that the buildings can still level up. It's basically just a batch command.

This is an incredibly useful mod when playing in sandbox mode with unlimited money. I like to lay out all of my public transport networks up-front, which causes commercial and industry buildings to immediatly level-up. Which would lead to tons of complains about not enough educated workers, and abandonded buildings. This mod solves that problem very well. Just lock commercial and industrial district levels at level-1 up-front until the population gets more educated. Great mod. Thanks for creating this.

I have declared the Ruhr houses as historical, but they will be replaced by vanilla houses sometime.

Although there is a new historical building system, it's inconvenient to mark one by one if I'd like to have an area of buildings stop changing appearance. Besides, even though a residential building is announced as historical one, it keeps growing as time gose by, which means I can't keep an area's population in a relatively proper range by setting the building's level limit.So I hope this mod can be updated! Thanks very much
