Hi, this tech looks really cool and I especially like the robot units' designs, but it doesn't appear to work with Void Wanderers. I started up a game as the CCU and tried to take my starting guys out of the cloning vat and it came up with an error about being unable to create the actor. Is there a fix for this or is my VW broke?

my newest mod has the opposite problem, i must've overcompensated :(

Warning: Unbalanced and overpowered, they basically can't die. Several other mods have this problem, like Dummy Expansion.

Just a very very late heads up: a typo in the Unmapped Lands and VW compatibility file makes it so that the standard android unit can't spawn. It's marked as SATU unit instead of SATO in the lua.

I know I'm extremely late, but this is an absolutely amazing mod. Awesome faction concept that was beautifully executed.

First time I saw this it sounded like a MTF from SCP.

Few things that I kinda want to critisize
1) Submachine guns sounds are a bit grating
2) Standard soldier ( 170 pts ) looks less like a crowd control operator and more like a space knight or something, visually clashes a bit with other units because of their helmet design

But overall this is a great mod, worth a try just for the heavy trooper squads with tower shields and heavy cannons professionally executing assault operations.

This is amazing! The sound effects are just brilliant, and the sprites are great! This is probably my favorite mod now, mostly because of the sound effects. The only thing i would like to see would be a large drop ship/drone with weapons on it, and some sort of vehicle, though i'm sure making vehicles and drop ships is alot harder than infantry. Oh, these sound effects combined with a Mech...

This has straight up become one of my favourite mods of all time for CC. The sprites are nice, they aren't massively overpowered, and the guns make a satisfying clickety-clack sound.

with what program is reccomended to run the factions .cfg text?

it is in your cortex command folder. all mods and content in general comes in a folder with .rte at the end.

How do you get to the .rte directory?

there is talk of some sort of slug cannon to fit the sniper role, but Gridbull and i are currently working on another mod so no promises

i can whip up the files but you'll still have to add the listing to VW/UL2 themselves, since they need to know to check in the first place. check for update soon.

I am fairly certain you already know but the snake pistol doesn't work properly in the sense that no bullets actually come out of the gun just FYI
