I'll be patient, there is no rush, good works take time.
And about contacting the maker of the carcoma set, its going to be hard because i did reach out for him about the walls and got no response, so i don't think we can get a permission easily.
However i might have been asking the wrong person (the publisher and not the actually maker).
Regardless, do you really need a permission? I mean those walls are your own work, you are making them, you aren't using or changing his work.
how do I do this? with photoshop to create bitmap images and a software called "turtle pack" (here the link: http://aok.heavengames.com/blacksmith/showfile.php?fileid=11349&ci=daaacf76b28d5d47cbcb8a8f3262eeb7YToxOntpOjA7YToyOntpOjA7czoxNDoiU2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHMiO2k6MTtzOjM2OiJsaXN0ZXIucGhwP3N0YXJ0PTAmYW1wO3NlYXJjaD10dXJ0bGUiO319) to open the SLP archives of the AOE2 files, both are easy to use but you will need practice
Btw this is a really cool wall, not even Trump could build a better wall
this replaces the "city walls", wich are objects on the scenario editor from the Forgotten Empires expansion and appears in some campaings

By the way @SpaceDundee, you sound like an expert in this, i use pretty much all of your unit mods, so maybe you can explain him how to make it work with IA? If you have the time of course.

You could check the already existing Spanish Fortified walls for an idea.
Also you could check the architectural set to get a broader picture of how it will look like.

The stone walls should represent the older Northern Portuguese walls, which were greyish-brown and characteristic for their spiked battlements

You asked me to show you the type of walls... what exactly does that mean? Do you want some pictures to base your art on?
If that is the case then sure i'm willing to help.
UR MUM M8 thanks men, but Im not really an expert on IA, I just make graphic stuff, if you show me what type of walls are I can try to make them eventually, but, in that case, someone need to upload it into the IA mod
While in the topic of walls, would it be possible to make IA walls Portuguese and Spanish? Their IA doesnt come with walls so their walls look very distinct from the rest of their buildings.
The Spanish do have very fitting Fortified walls, they only need stone walls, the Portuguese lacks both.
I'm asking you because the creators of their respectives AI dont reply so i dont think they will ever fix it.
Your work is damn good, but I'd imagine it's tiring doing so much. You should really take your time with these things or else you might get burned out. Or this could just be how you do things... I dunno'.
