I hope someone picks up Halo modding. The game may be janky but it's in a nice spot right now. Some amazing maps and models have been made for mods based off other series and the AI is pretty good at using everything right now.

the map is buggy as hell and practically nukes my computer with lag but is still fucking awesome. 7/10 (just cuz too much lag otherwise it'd be 10/10)

Yeah transport is a top priority. When I first made this map transport AI wasn't ready. I have a Phantom and Pelican modded and ready

Additionally, giving each side one (or two) transport flyers can give the AI on the ships the ability to jump down into the battlefield, and if one team controls the entire land zone, the other one can make an attempt to take it back by parachutting some guys in there under cover fire from the cruiser's turrets.

If the addition of this could make the AI capable of assaulting each other's ships by dropping their paratroopers in their landing zone, it would make the map near goddamned perfect.

I'd say have just one spaceship spawn for each side, and make sure there is enough vehicles in there (or they respawn fast enough) so that the AI doesn't just stand there waiting. At this time, that is easily half of both teams AFK because there isn't anything to do on the cruisers, but they can't get off either. If you don't want to have too many flyers at the same time (I think there should be more, though), simply giving the cruisers some turrets (AAs and TOW equivalents for the Halo asthetic) might give them something to do, and might make the whole battle more interesting, as they would actively shoot down the flyers AND might be able to bombard the battlefield from avobe, making the cruisers actual threats for the infantry.

Yeah maybe have one spaceship per side as spawn. I'm thinking of doubling the size of the ground part and having more variety in terrain and indoor space.

i think that the infantry part of the map needs major improvement it feels more thrown in rather than thought out for fun gameplay

id also remove some of the static space crafts that act as spawns but thats just my opinion and dosent nececrly need to be removed

also id need to play the map a bit more top pin pont some problems

Uh good question. See the issue is I went to go do that the other day as well as push an optimisation update. When I opened the map the terrain had gone. Stand by whilst I figure that crap out.

Really nice map, the flags on the map for the map are a bit densely packed on the Halo though, makes battle planning and changing/disabling flags on the Halo a bit difficult, idk if there'd be a good way to rectify that, just thought I'd mention it as it's really like my only gripe about the map.

If you want to run this easily disable some of the space flags using the configure flags option then you can use less bots. Although I don't see the problem. My PC is awful.

also i dont like how bad the ground combat is. because one i usally dont even see 1 red guy there , theres also like 20 blue flags and 1 red flag inside each other

Covenant ship is Shadow of Intent which sided with the UNSC during the Schism. Drop pods are In the frigate at the centre of the map.
