Nah, I am currently busy with other projects. Sorry.
MeniliteZ 16. feb. 2024 kl. 15:14
This has been a mod I've relied on for years from the time I first started Civ 6! Its great!

I came here to get the link for someone and saw your To Do List. Are you planning to do those still? The top one in particular I'm very interested in!
Der Needlermeister 27. aug. 2020 kl. 7:01
Does not work
oleox 26. juni 2020 kl. 3:08
Works for me with Concise UI. The folder that interfered was the popup_and_remind.
fka-gargamel 28. maj 2020 kl. 9:30
Hope not @astusalyfe
Would love to know how to make this mod work with concise ui. I know I need to change something in concise UI mod, but don't know what
BKGamesPI 27. maj 2020 kl. 17:56
Is this abandoned?
fka-gargamel 21. nov. 2019 kl. 15:27
No, it is not. Only not compatible with concise UI :(
Any help to make it work?
fka-gargamel 21. nov. 2019 kl. 7:45
its broken?
Nekzar 13. aug. 2019 kl. 0:10
@SpyrosChr

I have both this and Concise UI enabled, and this one doesn't work for me. It worked fine before I installed Concise.
SpyrosChr 12. aug. 2019 kl. 3:20
I was suggested to use this mod by Concise UI's mod author. Do you know if it conflicts with it? All I know is that Concise UI turns the tech/civic's background you are researching into a green tint, in order for you to change it if you want. While that is a neat idea, I find it to be way too subtle, so I think your mod is what I'd want, preferably with a notification.

So, does it conflict with Concise UI?

Important note: I am using both Rise and Fall, as well as Gathering Storm expansions.

btw, Thank you, Tiramisu. my husband continue to use Better Era Age Screencolors, More Opponents and Religions, and Research Stop Reminder. They seem to have survived and thrived the April and June 2019 updates. I use them with about 50-90 other mods, many have dropped like flies over this time period, and had to be replaced/updated. Thank you for your contributions to the community.

Any chance this could be made available for vanilla?
sdgabai 30. mar. 2019 kl. 17:45
I was updating our co-op collection. Noticed I was behind in catching up in thanking modders, such as yourself, for your wonderful efforts and explanations. As I mentioned, I'm a dinosaur. I may have been better equipped to understand that stuff before; but, I have to trust you on it now. lol My husband and I love your awesome work. Thank you!
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 8. mar. 2019 kl. 11:51
Thank you for your concern, but that is actually no real error from the game. It is a message from Gedemon's table-save-loader, which is included in this mod. The missing initial data is no problem, since it gets populated later on. (Btw. this data is just about eureka modifiers in case a player had a Great Age or is playing as China.)
sdgabai 8. mar. 2019 kl. 7:52
@Tiramisu great name, btw, my husband and mom love that dessert. My husband and I are still trying to learn how to best make use of this mod. It seems cool; but, we are till newbies when it comes to skill level of this game, compared to some of the true fans out there. lol

I was trying to track down an unrelated set of bugs to this mod.

I came across this, in the Lua.log
GetPlayerResearchBoostBoni: ERROR: can't load table from GetPlayerEurekaBoostBoni_ImportantVariables
GetPlayerResearchBoostBoni: ERROR: can't load table from GetPlayerEurekaBoostBoni_PlayerEurekaBoniArray

I believe these are tables that are loaded and saved in:
File: GetPlayerResearchBoostBoni.Lua
function OnLoadScreenClose()
function SaveMyTable()

I'm a dinosaur at coding; but, I think you were trying to initialize the tables or something.

Love this mod. Really need it. Thanks.
Shitdivers 27. feb. 2019 kl. 15:59
Sounds good!
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 27. feb. 2019 kl. 15:55
If everyone is happy with the new update, then I will upload the popup-version for this mod.
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 27. feb. 2019 kl. 15:55
UPDATE

- Added compatibility for Version 2.0 (Gathering Storm).
- Bugfix: The Research Stop Reminder will also work when the historic moments has popped up in that turn.
rahul 22. feb. 2019 kl. 19:00
ok thanks :)
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 19. feb. 2019 kl. 20:52
I am working on it. Currently it seems to work, but I need to test it a bit.
rahul 19. feb. 2019 kl. 20:50
Any plans for updating this mod?
n74er 15. feb. 2019 kl. 4:22
@Tira: wie sieht es mit GS-Kompatibilität aus?
Shitdivers 12. jan. 2019 kl. 16:40
Anyway you could make something like this for when a Governor title is obtained? I almost always forget when I get one of those until like 5-10 turns later lol
Shitdivers 12. jan. 2019 kl. 16:38
I hope the popup version is uploaded soon! That would be wonderful!
Thomas Eusterwiemann 2. jan. 2019 kl. 3:17
Hi Tiramisu! I am still interested in an online available Version which includes the popups. Will it be possible for you, to Upload such a Version?
Vaughn 23. dec. 2018 kl. 11:08
Do you think it would be possible to create a version that does not depend upon Rise and Fall?
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2018 kl. 13:55
Oh, sorry! After a long time test I wanted to upload that version already, but I got distracted somehow. I will upload that popup-version soon.

@weraptor: I was planning to add such clickable options. I just need to learn how to do that.
Thomas Eusterwiemann 1. dec. 2018 kl. 13:26
Would love, if you can upload and offer your "pop-up" version, as alternative, too.

Still thinking, that is a MUCH better version of your mod.
weraptor 26. juli 2018 kl. 16:09
It would be cool if there was a tick option to enable/disable this while playing a game (preferably within Word Tracker)
comatosedragon 19. juni 2018 kl. 14:12
Love the mod. I agree with Jeff and Thomas, I would like to see a pop-up version here on the workshop if possible.
Kudos!!
Finarfin 18. juni 2018 kl. 9:04
I second the option for a pop-up reminder.
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 17. juni 2018 kl. 15:17
This mod checks whether a new game era has changed the research cost. Whithout this check the reminder would sometimes not work when a new era starts.
This is why my mod requires functions that only make sense in Rise and Fall and I think it would leed to weird results or even game crashs, if I dropped the R&F-requirement.
xerus 17. juni 2018 kl. 15:11
why does this require rise & fall? Doesn't look necessary...
Thomas Eusterwiemann 13. juni 2018 kl. 23:01
The purpose of a collection is to be able to install all components directly with 1 click. An installation description for an external installation is there not very helpful.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that someone else is reading this and would be happy to be reminded with pop-ups.
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 13. juni 2018 kl. 16:40
If there are other people who can agree with you, then I will simply upload a second version with popups on the steamworkshop, but for now I will keep the version without popups.

I put a link for the alternate popup version in the description. You can also put the link in your mod collection.
Thomas Eusterwiemann 13. juni 2018 kl. 15:52
Tested both versions.

The Pop-up-Version is MUCH better, than the actual one.

I still often overlook the changes in research (maybe, because I use some other mods, which opens a similar menu on the right). AND, the information is so important, that it justifies an pop-up.

I strongly recommend integrating the popups into the workshop-version. And i look forward, to present them in my collection, to many subscribers.
Thomas Eusterwiemann 11. juni 2018 kl. 13:46
Thanks. Will try it in the next days.
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 11. juni 2018 kl. 11:50
That sounds very strange to me, but still I made an alternate version of this mod for you. Download it on civfanatics: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/ui-research-stop-reminder.633325/#post-15149992
Thomas Eusterwiemann 11. juni 2018 kl. 8:37
For me, I can say, that I often overlooked the panel.

And I do not think, that many pop-ups are triggered. In 50%+ of the cases, the EUREKA will be finished before the research is close to the event. In the other 50% of the cases, only one pop-up is necessary (in the trun before reching 60%.

In the end, I expect only 1 pop-up every 20 turns.

I would prefer this pop-up. But just my opinion...
EverAfter 11. juni 2018 kl. 4:54
It is what I want.
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 10. juni 2018 kl. 14:23
I think it would be much more annoying if you had to confirm a popup instead of just getting an opened research panel.
So I dont think that I should use popups. Just try this mod yourself and you will see.
Thomas Eusterwiemann 10. juni 2018 kl. 12:34
Regarding your mod. I have added it to my collection.

But I would like to try out, if it is possible, to integrate a pop-up, in case the mod triggers an event.

Ouestion: Change research, if you want to use a Eureka Boost later
Answer1: Open Panel
Answer2: No, thanks
Tiramisu  [ophavsmand] 10. juni 2018 kl. 10:04
Not sure, but I think it is from Hellblazers mod. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1304215078
