На самом деле, очень приятно, что народ до сих пор мои моды находит, хотя уже сколько лет прошло
If you get any questions in the future, feel free to ask
You also will unlock said content forever if you pressed "yes" once on that NSTH prompt because the game will create a save data point and will not bother you ever again
Know of a playthough that has the extra content? i dont want to keep bothering you with silly questions
Basically, my mods each have different endings coded by letters (shameless copy-paste from Nier:Automata). Each time you get an ending, it adds to the endings seen list specifically for that mod alone, so that you can easily keep track of what you've seen and what you might be missing. It has no effect on vanilla game or any progression. It's just there as a checklist if you want to be a completionist, and you can reset said checklist with the suggested prompt
I have admittedly un-did the fix devs did to only require him watch the fireworks once, but that was because I couldn't get Naomi's mod ending B working otherwise
If you haven't played NSTH, you get a small pop up at the very start of the Savior section asking if you have. Naturally, if you want to see more content, but you don't wanna go through NSTH (no hard feelings), you can just press "yes". It's a prompt - it can't get upset if you lie to it :P
Check if you have said map in your inventory (pause menu). In AWSW, items transcend time and space, meaning that if you gave someone an item, it disappears from your inventory across all saves/new game+. You have to acquire a new copy
The good news is that if you get an item, it would actually appear in your inventory across all saves, too. So you can speedrun to the map specifically, then come back to your main run the moment facility map is yours again (no need to finish the route). It's basically a vanilla thing
Even though that puzzle with Naomi was very tricky to me without a guide, I still think this mod is my favorite above all the other AWSW mods there has been to this day. 10/10 from me. Well done indeed :)
Up until this mod back then: Not-so tragic hero was my favorite mod, because it was the first time I ever got to interact with some other dragons as well other than the second "main dragon character" this mod not only made Bryce's ending far more better than the vanilla one, but also fixed so many issues I had with the vanilla one, especially in Maverick's case.
Also that BBQ time with others remains to this day my absolutely favorite moment in this game. I love so much the atmosphere of it and more importantly: The fact that now there is a genuine moment of bonding with Maverick and Anna.
So that is my idea, i am saying this cuz i really like/love Naomi so it is really hard for me to make myself play the other endings than the Naomi A ending.
The writing puzzle was kinda hard, cuz I was getting confused on the way. Probably a flaw on my side. It was worth the effort though, just because I could spend time with a particular dragoness.
I liked the little investigation with Sebastian too. He played much bigger role as the main character he deserves to be.
Otherwise, I loved it once again, just as I did the other mods. Definitely will unlock (and regret seeing once again) all the endings. I just hope I am ready. Also, I love the soundtrack. I don't know if I've written than on my other reviews. The chosen music fits perfectly.
On a side note, you made me question my fragile masculinity. Great time spend indeed.
I love both Bryce and Maverick.
You seem to know these characters really well and through the whole experience everyone feels super in character and Namoi is great as well, on another note will be playing through solitary mind soon now that I've finished experiencing Savior. The interactions in this one are really great and had me laughing, dawing, and tearing up a bit too. Especially Bryce you really brought him to life.
I also love how this mod is connected to a not so tragic hero and has a completely alternate timeline of events, you made some very fun puzzles to solve and crack and I had to get my brain working to solve them.
Just like a not so tragic hero this mod is great and honestly I wish the story would somehow never end, alas it isn't meant to be. However, I can always return and experience it whenever I wish.
Ending B is, in fact, still possible because A Solitary Mind conveniently re-opens the dialogue options for Seb about going to see the fireworks in chapter 4 if you've done Naomi's 3rd date.
I don't know if it's even possible, but it's food for thought, right? I just had an idea that I wanted to share is all.
Your mods are awesome, though, so if anyone could do it, you could.
As for the more mod ideas, thanks for the suggestions. Overall, however, I don't have any solid ideas just yet. But it might change soon enough
You get it if you choose to leave after talking to the Administrator in the very beginning of the mod.
So only the ending C pops up. what did I miss?
Maybe later I guess?
Overall I wasn't really a big fan of the "evil" ending because MC went from 1 to 100 in under 10 seconds, as in from basically a pacifist to a cold-blooded egoistic murderer. What I might do, however (don't hold your breath, but it is a possibility) is to make a morally grey ending for MC going to confront Reza alone.
Sidenote:
Since Naomi's design was revealed in the comics, and naturally, it's very different from what I've made, a certain question surfaced in regards to mods, comics, contradictions and continuity.
While I neither can, nor want to claim my work as canon (besides, headcanon of course
Which I won't do. Yeah, gonna be honest here.
In practice it means that my mods both present and future would continue staying true to game's canon to my best ability. However, comics would merely be accomodated given the opportunity.
There are 2 reasons behind this.
1. I'm not clairvoyant and as such can't forsee changes and differences in advance. Going back to change things already made would mean no new things being made. Because tbh it's frustrating AF.
2. Not everyone follows "Angels with Broken Hearts", and I'd really rather avoid confusion for playerbase or any sort of split, thus I'd threat comics as their own continuity. Any events canon only to comics which may appear in my future work would be properly explained and would require no prior knowledge of AwBH to make sense.
Hopefully, my stance is clear. By no means I'd want to disrespect AwBH, being a patron myself, but I can't reliably incorporate comics into my work.
TL;DR: My mods are fully going [AU] (Alternate Universe). Then again, they are technically fanfics anyway.
Alright, let's try standard tech support approach.
1. Unsub from everything, incl. Modtools.
2. Launch the game. See what happens.
3. If stuff is working as normal, re-sub to everything.
4. Launch the game again. If everything appears fine, relaunch a couple more times (just to be safe).
5. Let me know the results.
Do you get any errors or something? Or a notepad opening with a bunch of text in it?
I'm glad you liked the mod. Letters for endings were specifically designed to allow people to keep track of what they've seen and what they might be missing out on.
As for Naomi, she's not exactly a new face because she was mentioned by Bryce before, we just never got to meet her in person. Which this mod makes happen (albeit the design and personality are made by me and might not match what Saunders had in mind.)
