It isn't receiving Intercity or train lines for me. I got around it by making the station a Procedural Object, and putting titan's Platform Stations into them, and it works perfectly!

Then check if they're actually enabled in content manager, sometimes steam disables some mods. Aside ETST, there's no potential reason I can think of why station would fail to load. Fail to load problems are almost always related to a network that is missing or disabled on an asset, hence it doesnt load

You are missing the train station tracks listed in the right side of the asset description, under "REQUIRED ITEMS"

- Extra Train Station Tracks mod is required for asset to function as the base game doesnt have proper station tracks to use

@REVO, Loading Screen Mod tells me that there are several "Invalid LOD texture size 384 x 256" errors.

If subbuilding tracks spawn trains and 'disable regional trains' doesnt work, then it's either a. you have an outdated mod that disrupts this option in the game, or b. game is broken so the issue must be taken to Colossal Order. Train station itself doesnt dictate how many trains spawn, it's entirely regulated by internal game code, or via tertiary mods. In any case, that's not related with the station asset.

I can recommend to use 'Optimized Outside Connections' mod from Quboid (?), or any mod that can regulate train spawn and occupancy per train. Should you use them, there will be less trains to spawn.

Wonderful assets, but its somehow bugged with sunset harbor dlc and railway mod. 1. I disabled intercity trains but it doesn't work, intercity trains just keep coming . 2. After a while the terminal will spawn trains like crazy, every 2 sec there will be a train spawn on the platform and eventually inifite trains will crash my computer even if I got like 128G ram though. I do used railmod to replace the vanilla tracks when testing this station.

I am probably missing something obvious but I am unable to connect lines to this station. When I try to connect a line, it says "Unable to find path". As far as I am aware I connected all platforms to my rail network using the anarchy mod. Any ideas?

Update:

Yes I had physically connected the tracks using the anarchy mod, which I already had. Additionally, I have now been able to make local train lines run to and from the station. However, there are still a few issues:

1) People will not use the station outside of the people who work there. All trains that travel there are empty, and no one picks up a train there, even though stations further down the line are used.
2) I'll double check my connections again, but Intercity trains still won't use the station, and the disconnected icon is still present after seemingly having connected everything. This might be due to something I've missed so I'll give it another loosksie when I get the chance.

i will assume that you physically connected station tracks to your main line, despite they are a bit short (so you used anarchy mod to drag tracks inside station 'plot area' to reach them. if it's the case, and error is given, there's probably a problem along the main line network, where a bridge, or a track etc. is not connected but remains disconnected. Best way to test this is a. pick random nodes along the main line and move them with move it, if they are connected you will 'pull' entire track segment, if not, only track ends will move. another testing method is to make random train stops alongside main line that is broken.

roadside placement do work, it's just plot size a bit of a mess because of the size, so you need to place the station building next to a road (like any building), but while anarchy mod is enabled

Howdy Revo. Mod is beautiful, but I've run into a small issue: even though I have connected some of the tracks to the map's train network, it's showing me the "not connected to network" icon (the little red-black "t" icon that overs over unconnected 1-way roads, train and tram tracks, etc). Intercity trains do not spawn or stop there, and I can't connect any local train lines to the station. Any idea why this is? Is there a mod I should be using? Do all station tracks need to be connected? Did the regular snap-on-roadside placement not work properly?

I'm eager to get this working, as the station looks absolutely lovely and is just what I need in my current city build.

you cant.

Maximum 'operational' platform lenght supported by game is about 26-28units. Anything further is subject to break in pathfinding. The workaround is to use Railway station tracks in game after station, create custom platforms with networks or props and maintain a 'visually' 200m+ long station. Through stations are easier, as long as train doesnt reverse and very long station is not a terminus, it's not glitchy. I alrady made a tutorial about it you can check in my profile any XL train I made has a link to it.

Heyy REV0, how do you make station tracks longer than 200 meter or 25 units? If I make it longer, no path can be found.

Although this quite clearly consists of three Anhalter Bahnhöfe bunched together, the total result is not unlike the existing Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, which is also a terminus with three halls of equal size (two smaller side halls were added later). Might even consider making it a bit more Frankfurt-y by adding the towers.

you dont strech tracks inside station, they're already at max. you enable road anarchy mod and hook up train tracks with station tracks inside station. aside that you need extra station tracks enable to assign tracks by holding down shift key, as station has more than 2 station tracks.

Hi again REVO, so I blew it up and replaced it with a vanilla station -the tracks worked fine with line management. I replaced it tried to grab the nodes to stretch the track out . I hooked a track to it and selected that track but couldn't seem to catch the node to stretch the track inside the station. I'm not using the sub-building mod -but I'm not thinking this is the problem? At this point I feel a little foolish for wasting your and my time with this. Thanks for trying to help and responding. It's a beautiful station I just can't figure out how to make it work for me.

that's right. if you strech them too much you might break pathfing so i was thinking maybe thats the problem you have, seems not. another alternative would be checking entire line is connected properly. delete the kopf and put a vanilla train station there, connect tracks, see line management works or not

Okay I did that -moveIt- moved the station around and all my tracks connected to the station stretched as I moved the station. Do I need Metro overhaul MOD on? It's too bad I can't get this to work I set up an extensive rail network with this as the terminal....

not sure what you mean. did you connect train station tracks to train tracks ? they are either connected or not, it's pretty visible, otherwise you'd have buffers on tracks. try move it to move nodes a bit, see if they move together or separately, if it's latter means you didnt connect tracks

Hello REVO, so I doubled check that I have that mod on and i do - I am able to set a stop in the station but it won't draw a line to another station -do i need to extend the tracks to connect them (they look connected)? Is there something obvious I'm missing -it acts like it can't see my other stations.

Hello REVO, I'm relatively new to the MOD world. I have added the specified mods but can't seem to create a train line with a stop in this station. I've verified the tracks up to the station by adding another station in various places and connecting between the 2 of them but I can't get a stop in this incredible station. Can you help?

Your station works fine. I figured it out. Error was indeed on my end. The problem was (I assume) that I grabed the end nodes outside of the station building. I learned the lesson from MoveIt then, I guess ("This mod as no limit; use it carefully). Thank you for your very nice assets and your very kind support anyway. Really appreciate.

Thank you for your quick reply. The map has no preplopped vanilla stations. I will check with other workshop stations. I remember now though that I had some weird train stuff with my last safe on this map (before Sunset Harbor). There I used Dresden Neustadt and I had the issue that tons of trains where coming in and remained as "ghost trains" queing to enter the station. I ignored it then and figured that this was because I had't connected the tracks all the way through the station (i.e. I was basically using it as a terminus station).

I still hope that it's neither of the options and I'm just too stupid plopping down traintracks...

There are two possibilities, either

a. My station is broken and somehow doesn't get passengers (which it is getting as im using it myself and works fine)
b. Map is broken

I would recommend to check outside passenger inbound is working with ither workshop stations. Basically try other custom stations and verify if they are bringing passengers or having the same issue.

If they work that would be interesting. If they dont bring intercity trains and only vanilla stations work fine, then the map is broken.

Hey REV0. Sorry to bother you again with your gorgeous station. I now have the issue, that no intercity trains want to come in. I have intercity trains allowed (on all sub-buildings, toggled it on and off, as well as toggling on and off the station itself). I have also checked, if the tracks are connected and all is fine, i.e. I can run a local line to all plattforms/subbuildings. The vanilla station I used to test this received intercity trains just fine. I also have a cargo station (bussing station) that receives import/export trains just fine. Any tips on how to solve?

I love this station. Is there a trick on how to grab the station track node to extend the station length? I fiddled around quite a bit but couldn't get hold of it ever. I only managed to grab the segment but never the node.

I dont use anything aside RWY that interferes with train lines, so when a station is working on my end and it doesnt work for anyone else, it's just a standard procedure to ask "do you have anything that interferes with", nothing against MOM per-se.

I will test the station again on an empty map see if all tracks are operational just to make sure.
