Really good conversion gel map! The amount of clever combo/set ups for the lightbridge+gel is very impressive. Thumbs up!

There's this one move which got me stuck. Painting the spots was fun, but then the seemingly unobtainable cube completely killed the flow for me. Yes, that move is creative and clever, and I just couldn't see it. But that map is full of misleading design and still has so many possible exploits and alternate solutions in it. Man.

Great puzzle! Took me about 30 minutes to solve blind, and really loved the Pull the rug part. I was waaay overthinking on how to get the cube, thinking I had to do some complex conversion gel flinging to get it, but ended up just hitting my head on the light bridge to get it.

Woo! very clever ad surprisingly easy to complete chamber! Conversion gel is tricky to work with. i hope you play the rest of my TUBER maps because the last one uses conversion gel and funnels and cameras in interesting ways (I hope) :p2cube: :steamthumbsup:

Not sure I did the solution correctly. The design of the chamber seems to strongly suggest that I should fling the cube into that room between the two fizzlers and use conversion gel in there. I never needed to though. Also, the turret can be grabbed through the grating, but I still could solve the chamber by using the bridge (still not using that one room with the fizzlers.) Still a clever chamber, I was stumped on getting the cube for a while. Good conversion gel tests are nice.

Nice puzzle! Spent a surprising amount of time trying to reach the cube with fancy conversion gel setups, before rather humorously realizing that there was a much easier way.

Nice puzzle solved by slowly working each element. As others I think my most unworkable actions were executed trying to get the cube. Satisfying when I finally got it. A nice end to the day as I did Apex (but had eventually to go to HugoB's solution and stopped immediately when I saw him put a portal in one place I hadn't thought to. He was doing it with the wrong cube, but I saw instantly what I had missed). Also, did Divided v2.0 and somehow walked through in about 5 minutes - I never do that on your maps. So this was a nice medium...no hints and took a good amount of time. The only thing I missed was your traditional "return to the entrance to exit" ;-P

This map is almost great. The loosely connected sections of map, occasional outside-of-box thinking, same bridge affecting multiple elements... Are all hard to come by in good Portal 2 puzzles. But some flaws are present. The cube and the white panels down below are too not obvious. There are some death traps. Like the 3 turrets. Easy to miss. Would suck if the player made it to the end, but got killed by the 3 turrets they missed. Also the last jump requires a little air movement (air strafing). If the player doesn't nail it, they are going to fall back and drown. Hit me really hard when I spent more than an hour solving the puzzle, only dying at the end due to movement tricks. Although I can see how it's probably hard to polish out these flaws, without breaking something else. Overall, it was refreshing and well worth it :steamthumbsup:

It's really good, as I go through my list of favourites, when I come across a map like this, which certainly makes you think, but ia also great fun - it definitely deserves to remain my list.

You should honestly include this in your "Best of". Very enjoyable map. I thought it was on par with the other maps in that collection.

I don't know anything about missing textures. I do know I had an excellent puzzle that nearly got me. I had so much fun solving it and enjoying the ambiance that I forgot to look for textures. That little thing to get the cube is wonderful. I've done similar and your iteration is perfect. I almost forgot those pesky turrets and had to go back and do that. Love killing turrets. Thank you for a great map. A favorite.

I flung some gel from the surface which the bridge hits, onto the floor between the angled panel and the fizzler. From that point on I could splat gel all over that place and do
this .
a few steps later I had a light-bridge-shield between me and the one turret, went into its portal and flung myself to the exit without even knowing what the corridor with the laser field is for.
I don't know the intended solution but my solution wasn't easy either, so I decided to leave it at that.

Also, I liked how you get to the cube - creative and fun :)
Also also, the turrets at the top don't do much. I tried going to the exit area with them still standing and reached the exit on my first try.

Funny how all those other people were leading us on with finishing this map, especially their video evidence, all staged, like the moon landing.

And finally I can open up my heart as well about these missing textures, as another truly discerning gentleman of the fine game development.

Ok, screw this map.

I've seen a lot of maps that aren't super simple, but yet still fun to learn how to do and that feel good when you complete it.

This map is not one of those.

I have found that there is literally no way to actually progress after the point where you can use the light bridge. Because there's only one single portal-able area from which to shoot to, and it's over the death water.

And there's no way to get to that damn box button. Something that's clearly needed to finish the map.

And the several missing textures in places don't help either.

Am I supposed to grab the lone turret through the grate? Since the discovery back when PeTI first started being able to grab things or push buttons through grates, I felt this was an oversight by Valve. Everything else is spot on and well tested for a white gel puzzle!

Well done, another thoughtful puzzle. Got hung up at the head bump on the bridge, after that it was a little easier. Thanks for creating.

Nice. Took me a while. I like puzzles that stump me for a bit and take thinking. 2 best moves were gettting to the cube buttion and activating the machine gun, ya know.. being able to move about the rooms after strategically dropping cube on light bridge buttion. . great.

Oh, it's easy to change if you export to hammer. You could just have 1 turret and make it kill you on the first shot. It just seemed like they responded faster than normal. You could solve it by using one of the BEEmod panels that are blacked out on each side. Or use the angled blocks instead of the angled panel.

Well, I played around for a minute and skipped getting rid of the turrets at the exit...
Obviously you changed their reaction timing and I'm assuming upped the damage they put out as well. I would just up it more so it's an instant death.

@nock Thanks! <3 Yeah seems like the only thing you did wrong was the solo turret - you're supposed to need to block it with the light bridge. My fault, I need to fix that but publishing isn't working properly. Thanks for playing, as always!
