@p.ianieri There's quite a bit of information you'd need to know in order to do 3D modeling. TECHNICALLY, it's not the hardest thing in the world, but it's best to start off looking at some tutorials on YouTube and such. If you want a free program for 3D modeling, I'd say check out Blender. I don't personally know how to use that one as it's a little awkward in my opinion (I use 3ds Max, which is not free), and I also went to school for animation, which is why I already know how to do this much. (That said, I'm super flattered, though there are other modelers FAR more talented on here than I am, haha.)

For texturing, Photoshop is an easy go-to, but if you don't have that available, then there's other programs for free such as Krita. There are also tutorials for how to add these things to Cities: Skylines. It takes a bit of time and practice, and some trail-and-error.

Oh and how coulod I forget the incredible former Electroliners that Red Arrow bought from the C&NSL... Of course I would make variations to make the Chicago guys happy...lol

Question for you .... How much computer knowledge do you need to be able to make vehicles as good as you do it? I have some awesome models in mind for this game... mostly early SEPTA stuf that the authority inherited the system when they took it over... Like the Bullet cars and the St. Lois Red Arrow trolley cars and also the MFL Almond Joy M3's...

@p.ianieri Partly that, yes. At first, I was only interested in practicing on the trains. Before the Silverliner V, I'd never made content for a game before. Once I got the gist of it, I started going down the line of which interested me most to create. However, my computer was facing limits with loading times for C:SL, and life has been generally busy. And since I don't really jump on requests, I've been slow about learning how to make a proper metro vehicle. However, some new things may be in the works, including corrections on some of my previous assets

This question might seem stupid, since I don't know the first thing about modding... But why didn't you from the get go make the two models, the N5 and M4 metro mods from the beginning? The only reason I could think of is that you were past the point of no return when you realized you were modding for train, not metro.

@p.ianieri Thank you! I have the B4s are part of my future model inclusion. I just need to take the time to learn converting trains into metro vehicles, so I can make both a BSL and MFL asset appropriate to their line types. Same goes for the Norristown High Speed Line, because technically that also operates in a similar fashion, using a third rail. And yeah! Practice some modeling and texturing, and do your thing!

And now I'm off to eat some Water Ice...lol

Oh and by the way... These are simply beautiful... Maybe someday if I ever learn how to model, I'll attempt to make the heritage cars that Philly used to run... like PCC's, Almond Joy MF Cars and the three original Broad Street cars. You Rock... Thank you.

As someone who loves playing CS, and lives in the Delaware Valley... These are very appreciated... Just one request... Could you make the B4's that run on the Broad Street Subway?

@Lord iZ! Glad to hear it! That's the reason I made more modern vehicles, because there wasn't enough present-day SEPTA to go around on here. I'm hoping to find some time to create more soon.

Working on a (approximate) model of philly, these assets are awesome!
