how much does it produce ?
Reika 23 Jun, 2020 @ 4:52pm
I just found out the same (though I ended up getting the model from someone else who clearly originally took it from you).

I will add a credit link to the description of my mod:

不言丶// Could you allow me that use this mod's modeling for different usage?
I wanna a different assembler to producing mod components for my private server.
This mod's big reactor model seems very feat to my wish.

If you allow it, I'll leave a url of this page for as a credit.

If you can change the file, you can change my mod to the desired value. I don't forbid others to change it. You can change it at will

不言丶 since not getting back to me can i make a tweet version of this bc it is to week a ship with energy weapons
VS-lockon 9 May, 2020 @ 9:45am
@DSiren any power block is compatible with Weapon Core all tho it is not compatible with some Weapon Core energy weapons bc how low power
VS-lockon 9 May, 2020 @ 9:43am
can you do me a favor can up the power to gw because right now my ship take way more power then these produce i have shield energy weapons and there not enough power not enough room to fit reactors needed make 6gw of power need fire once
or even move
Mask of Humble 3 May, 2020 @ 6:25pm
So from what I can tell, this is just a reskinned reactor that has a higher max output and only does 0.02 more Kw per uranium then a normal large reactor
Alus | Herrscher of the Void 29 Apr, 2020 @ 8:50am
is that a module to boost the ractores or is it an actual reactore?
Генерал Яйцекрут 26 Apr, 2020 @ 5:39am
we want to use your mod for the server,can I do this? nickname of the Creator and a link to your mod will be added
Ratch 21 Apr, 2020 @ 11:18am
The Models look awesome.
不言丶  [author] 7 Mar, 2020 @ 11:53pm
@DSiren
It doesn't have any scripts, it just changes the original reactor and should be compatible with other mods.
DSiren 7 Mar, 2020 @ 1:48pm
damn spicy new 1x1. Is this compatible with Weapon Core do you know?
It'sMatt 10 Jun, 2019 @ 3:45pm

Causes extended loading time when loading in to a saved game.

Also causes extended/infinite loading when attempting to open the 'load saved game' menu, when one of the saved games in question has this mod.

@critproof Happy to help. :)

All and all this a pretty good mod, my only complaints are threefold;

1. There's no control terminals on the reactors. The conveyor ports can be used as one yes, but if both are used and covered up there is no way to directly access the block, so one had to navigate through another console to find the reactor, not a huge issue but a minor annoyance all the same.

2. The highlighted yellow area when looking at a conveyor port doesn't cleanly go around the port itself, like you see when you highlight one on a vanilla block, again minor issue, but still an issue.

3. The green smoke that pours out of the block when it becomes damaged is a bit overkill and to directed, a single omni-directional emitter in the middle would be enough.
Chief11 31 Jul, 2018 @ 3:00pm
Gotcha, thank you Jake!
Nice to see tradeoffs instead of a linear "tiered"/Super Mega Reactor upgrade :)
Wolfette 31 Jul, 2018 @ 2:50pm
So on the whole it takes a lot more components for each, flat out double in the case of some of the components, such as the pricey Reactor Components, but also substantially increased power output for the same size consumed on a grid.

That being said, I did a little testing, and these reactors seem less resilient then the vanilla ones, despite having more plates between the fully built and no longer functional lines. It 4 salvos of 6 rockets each to render a vanilla large reactor on large grid inoperable, while it took a little less then 3 salvos for it's mod equivalent. So there is that advantage to consider.
Wolfette 31 Jul, 2018 @ 2:49pm
@critproof Here is the comparison;

Large Grid (Vanilla)
Steel Plate 1500 (1000)
Computer 75 (75)
Motor 40 (20)
Reactor Components 4000 (2000)
Superconductor Conduits 200 (100)
Large Steel Tube 80 (40)
Metal Grid 80 (40)
Construction Components 140 (70)
Output Power: 900 MW (300MW)

Small Grid (Vanilla)
Steel Plate 80 (60)
Computer 25 (25)
Motor 10 (5)
Reactor Components 190 (95)
Large Steel Tube 6 (3)
Metal Grid 18 (9)
Construction Components 18 (9)
Output Power: 44.25 MW (10.5 MW)
Chief11 17 Jul, 2018 @ 1:07pm
Is there an increased component or fuel cost?
Netherspark 16 Jul, 2018 @ 7:24pm
It's effectively 3x the power of a regular large reactor.
Red Coralian 19 Jun, 2018 @ 7:55pm
What does it require
Dempsey 16 Jun, 2018 @ 5:55am
look awesome. maybe a choice between the standard reactor and this one to represent the technological differences within factions?
HighFlyer96 16 Jun, 2018 @ 1:14am
*1'000. Learn that because . and , are confusing and silly.
@M117CH some individuals use a point instead of a unconfusable " ' "
So instead of 100'000 they write 100.000 which can easily be mistaken with 100,000.
Especially since you can actually say decimals with "point". Like "five point 4 millions" which means basically 5,(comma)4 millions.
I highly recommend using this (') instead. And it's only required from 10'000 not 1000 already.
2nd thing is, zeroes after a comma do make sense. 0,1 could mean anything between 0,05 and 0,14999... . But if you write 0,10 it is way more accurate. This can be anything between 0,095 and 0,10499. So this reduces the wrong results from 0.0999... to 0.00999... .
d_valroth 15 Jun, 2018 @ 3:31pm
Nice model.
Daniel L Parry 15 Jun, 2018 @ 1:40pm
I feel the model of this fits better inside my reactor rooms than the standard design, I prefer the model to fill the corners of its bounding box like this. Thanks
ForgerFortySeven 15 Jun, 2018 @ 11:15am
can anyone make an animatedd forge.. ie a Forge/Assembeler with a window that you can see plate steel being beaten into shape then come out
Ancient Aliens Guy 15 Jun, 2018 @ 8:24am
Ah, the trolls..
MiiTCH 15 Jun, 2018 @ 8:23am
@Synka I don't get why people add those zeroes after the decimal.. It makes no difference mathematically, so I don't get why they're added scientifically other than it makes it easier to see where the value came from.
Ancient Aliens Guy 15 Jun, 2018 @ 8:21am
Megawatt is not equivalent to a Gigawatt.. It's exactly like data storage units, people. Otherwise, CaptainCheesy is correct: 1MW = 0.001GW and 1000MW = 1GW. Do the math :D
Mr Pipe Works 15 Jun, 2018 @ 7:05am
thx.
Synka 15 Jun, 2018 @ 2:54am
1.000 MW* otherwise he's right
CaptainCheesy 14 Jun, 2018 @ 2:29pm
@Solar Nightmare:

MW and GW are literally the same unit. It takes 1,000MW to create 1GW. So, if you had 900MW, you have 0.9GW.
Mr Pipe Works 14 Jun, 2018 @ 11:10am
How much is 900.000MW in GW?
不言丶  [author] 14 Jun, 2018 @ 9:32am
@Michael.davies05
It only needs uranium rods for fuel
Lankycaptain 14 Jun, 2018 @ 8:00am
what fuel does it require? normal or something else
forcemaster2000 13 Jun, 2018 @ 6:54pm
What does more "efficient" mean? OP?
Anubis 13 Jun, 2018 @ 10:55am
I think the wormhole drilling is great as it is. Gives players a way to sustain themselves in an astroid scarce world. and the small devices allow for a smallship mobile bases.
不言丶  [author] 13 Jun, 2018 @ 2:20am
@Anubis
I can make a module package, but the wormhole drilling will not be in it, because I am planning to rebuild the wormhole drilling, but I have no better idea.
I want to make it more fun, instead of just waiting for it to produce ore, as it is now.
Anubis 12 Jun, 2018 @ 2:54pm
was wondering if you planned on puting all your mods together in a modpack.
