@Ulthar Yes most of them but not all ^^ I did this mod when I was a bit younger thus some rooms I wouldnt put into a mod nowadays, because they look a bit akward for Stellaris :)

Amazing mod, really great for so many empires.
One single complaint though, one of the backgrounds which feature a bunch of purple mushrooms which take up most of the image is noticeably lower image quality than the rest and seems very blurry.

Did they changed how the backgrounds work? I cant access the game right now.. Would be cool if you could try it for me, but i dont think they changed anything regarding rooms.

is this 2.3 compatible?

I think they won't work in multiplayer like DiverseRooms - because it is not possible to do so. You could either pre-script Empires on your map with backgrounds you want - or use Blackfyres mod that sets room according to ethics. I mean i dont mind if i m the only one seeing it in multiplayer :D

Do they work in multiplayer? I saw that a similar mod (Diverse Rooms Mod) wouldn't show the rooms to other players (even if they also had the mod installed).

I will clear out some backgrounds because I felt, together with Diverse Rooms mod , it gets to crowded - too many room backgrounds. I hope that is in the interest of everyone. :)

Well even if it says outdated , it is not , this mod would work with every version of stellaris , because the files affected normally don't change , so just ignore the *Old mode* message. I will update this again when 2.2 kicks in :)

Its not piracy, its derivative work, or "parody" , or "composite work", or whatever your country chooses to associate it with. Technically, not only you have right to use those pictures, but you may even rights to copyright them on your own. Maybe.
Or you can make a good claim of it at least.
In practice, be really nice to those whose art you used, and take the picture out if they ask, or mention their name if they ask. They deserve the respect.
You dont need to take it down and if someone demands it, you can ignore them, unless its the original author. Even then they are not -automatically- entitled to have it removed.
Of course, your mileage WILL vary depending on your country. Be nice, be polite, be cool.

Please keep this mod up, it's really nice. It doesn't matter that you don't get the artist's permissions because you don't claim credit and it isn't commercial. Anyone who is unhappy can just ask you to remove it.
