In singleplayer Custom Battles you can have a maximum army size of 40 units.

How did you increase the Army Size Limit to such a great extend (second last picture)? I don't play Shogun 2 much so I don't know about any features that can extend your army size to ~50? (I like big armies thats why I like to know how you did that.)

Yessirry! You can find it in Tools under the Library tab, however there are some bugs and other particulars you have to learn about and create workarounds for things to work. The map making itself is innovative and easy, getting the map playable and bug/crash free can be difficult sometimes.
