"Bonk Dark" to me sounds like that mountain dew flavor where it was just a really dark purple grape flavor.

As far as stats I think it should make you invisible for a short time...... you know, darkness, shadows, hiding.. granted I know it's mainly just a reskin, but I think it should be an item by itself

Because of the "dark" in the name, it might be cool if it caused an effect similar to the Spy's Invis Watch only it's extremely temporarily, you take more damage, and you can only use secondary or melee weapons. This would make it a quick get-away item for times when you're surrounded.
