In JFD_Civs_RomeJuilus_Functions.lua, in function JFD_LoadScreenClose(), Line 146, 147 player:SetNumFreePolicies(1)
player:SetHasPolicy(policyID, true)

I think this is why Julius gets a free policy for each loading.

I think it should be:
player:SetNumFreePolicies(1)
player:SetNumFreePolicies(0)
player:SetHasPolicy(policyID, true)

Well playing as Julius, I always get a free social policy when I start a game or reload a savegame. Is this issue known already? And does anyone know how to solve it?

This is a really cool civilization choice, not to mention your plethora of other civilizations. Thank you all so much for making these amazing options and choices for us to enjoy!
I do have a question, however. When I play as this civilization, I noticed that my options for puppeting cities to not be available. It may be another mod I have installed, which I'll have to look into, but does this civ not allow for me to puppet cities?
An example of this was when I was playing as Caesar and chose to declare war on and subsequently invade a smaller city-state. I won the battle and gained the city, but found that my option to puppet the city-state was not an option. I just had plain control over it. Is this part of the mod or is there something else?

@JFD personally prefer Vidi, Vici, Veni as the title trait myself but I’ll myself suggest you move The Legion Unit to Julius Caesar & The Praetorian Guard Unit to Augustus Caesar, what with Augustus Caesar being the First Imperator.

@grant No, that shouldn't be changed. It's referencing the table from the unreleased version 24 of YnAEMP, which in turn references the Rome TSL from that version.

@tracs1833 I've had a look at the TSL code, and it seems that its referencing itself instead of vanilla rome for the coordinates, which looks to be the issue. I think to fix it you would change 'ROME_JULIUS' to 'ROME' only where it says in the ynaemp bits of the code WHERE CivilizationType = 'CIVILIZATION_JFD_ROME_JULIUS'.

I 'made the time' and tried this mod without the "Empire Strikes Back" mod and the Julius Caesar civ, still does not show up when using TSL. See below comment for more info, please.

I downloaded this, enabled it, and started a game using YNAEMP v24. The Julius Caesar version did not show up on the list of available civs when using TSL, but did when using TSL & Random start positions. So, I tried that option, but ended up in "'the middle of no where". I then went back and used the Augustus Caesar civ with TSL, and it was your modified version (using Melites) and was in the correct place. Any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong? I am wondering if "The Empire Strikes Back" mod I use might be blocking the Julius Caesar part of your mod. I will try again without it, tonight. BTW, it is great seeing you do Civ V mods again!!!! I did noit care much for Civ VI and am pretty much content to stay with Civ V.
