For now I am going to direct you to the Thread I started for troubleshooting

I'm going to clear my modlist and try redownloading everything. Hopefully that'll fix it.

Also, game has started to crash again on every attempt at a resume game. Hm...

the only files that affect the player's inventory window should be in Bigger Inventory. And nothing else in your modlist should be affecting them. Have you tried clearing your files and redownloading your modlist?
Tregolani 10 May, 2013 @ 1:55pm
Ok, tried newest load order, removed BI SYN and replaced it with CTA BISYN.

Current load order matches yours. Need to use Mod Unbinder to play, and the Socketables Tab still is unusable. =( Game doesn't seem to be crashing...but must to further tests.
Tregolani 10 May, 2013 @ 1:49pm
Right. Here we go.

Current Load Order is:

Mod Unbinder (Was CTA BISYN Patch)
UNLEASHTHERAINBOW
CTA (New one)
Enigma
Bigger Inventory - Synergies Compatibility
Bigger Inventory
SynergiesHIGHLOOT
<Personal Mod for Skill Durations>
SynergiesMOD

Pet is Panther (from Vanilla).
No pet transformations, but I have used the 100% reduced travel time fish on him.

When loading up with the compatibility patch for CTA, I ended up losing all of the socketables on the socketables tab. Not really a big deal, as I'm not anywhere near max level yet, but still wasn't supposed to happen.

EDIT: Just worked my way through the switchover, and am now running without Mod Unbinder and the CTA BISYN patch. Have deleted all mods and redownloaded them.

EDIT 2: Now the game crashes anytime I try to load my game up. Obviously I can get to the main screen, but can't play it at all. I haven't moved things into the order you just posted, though. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Also more information would be helpful, what mods are you using and what is your load order. Which starter pet are you using, and do you have any pet transformations active?

Did you recently transition to the new version of CTA? there is information in the Troubleshooting Discussion
Tregolani 10 May, 2013 @ 12:50pm
Bandit: Not sure what is happening, but it seems that the compatibility patch is negating the use of the Socketables tab in Bigger Inventory. I lost all of my current socketables (not really that big of a deal, honestly) and I can't seem to place any socketables in the tab. I'm currently running the game with the Mod Unbinder and without the comp patch, and the sockets tab is working again. Just figured I'd make the "bug" report.

you can always just do like i did with CTA and just merge the compatibility patch into whatever Inventory mod you use, turn off publish to steam and just rebuild the mod, then load the inventory mod ABOVE cta. Once everything is working good then just unsub so you wont get your modifications overwriten by a new version down the road. I won't be creating one for the public though sorry. Going to have to learn to use GUTS if you want more mod slots :P
William Whisky 28 Apr, 2013 @ 1:12pm
okay :\

But, but but.... how about big bag / bigger inventory *inside* the compatible patch? That still saves, like 1 slot. That's like... 100% more than 0 dude !!11!!

Sorry but this 10 mod limitation had me on this mental "combine them all, that's like <i'm running out of finger to count> a lot. Cool, sub! Compatible patch? That doesn't add anything, and I'm wasting a slot for that? This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!"
Bandit  [author] 28 Apr, 2013 @ 11:51am
sorry you need even more mods :3 as it stands I have 4 slots open for when I need... you are loading up 20+ mods with this setup ..... some people want everything :P

But to get back to the point, even if I made these changes you suggest, I would still need a compatibility patch for synergies pets. So it is actually not that effective of a solution. As of now I will not be releasing anything including bigger Inventory inside the main mod compilation.
William Whisky 28 Apr, 2013 @ 10:23am
Why don't you compile "bigger inventories" or "big bag" to "combine them all" and save *2* precious mod slot?
Lazlowe 27 Apr, 2013 @ 10:02am
Thanks, Bandit. Deleted my old folder, new files updated properly, and it seems to be working now. Cheers!
Bandit  [author] 26 Apr, 2013 @ 12:26pm
not sure why people are receiving files that are corrupted.... I updated the files to the newest version of TL2 last night. It may be caused by old files, clear your old files and redownload from steam to attempt to refresh it. As I have said steam comes under heavy load at times and the workshop gets bogged down and can lead to corrupt files.
And also, this compatibility patch is for users of inventory mods and synergies, not just for CTA and synergies. I feel lazy of making another one for CTA and just synergies to standardize the pet graphs. :P If you are not using an inventory mod there will be no noticeable bugs, but the pet buffs from synergies will not be active.

** I have fixed the issues with steam workshop and the right files are up and working as intended. Please clear any old files.

although i haven't actually gone in-game with it, as i don't want to play with broken pet invetory. :/ i'm only using synergies though, not the big bag mod. i suppose i'll give it a test anywho.
the wizard 26 Apr, 2013 @ 9:54am
i also have the same issue. in the launcher, under mod info Status reads "Compiled for outdated Game Ver."
Bandit  [author] 25 Apr, 2013 @ 11:57pm
let me try to recreate your issue and see what I can find.

I have deleted the folder and unsubscribed and I still have the error(pet inventory is inaccessable)
the name is also missing from the mod launcher
Bandit  [author] 25 Apr, 2013 @ 10:13pm
Sorry it took so long I had to extract the newest pak files for the game but it should be working... If it still is not working I will have to look further into why. Seems like the workshop has been coming under a lot of strain lately. I tested downloading the mod from subscription and its working fine on my end, its showing up on the modlist and it has a name. Try deleting the folder from your mods folder in /my documents/my games/runic games/torchlight 2/mods/ and delete the cta bi syn compatibility patch folder.

I am having the same issue as Lazlowe, there is no title in the mod selecter and pet inventories are still broken when used.
Bandit  [author] 25 Apr, 2013 @ 6:35pm
I will update the mod to try to fix the compatibility. It is just a handful of textfiles so the file is naturally very small.
Lazlowe 25 Apr, 2013 @ 5:50pm
This does not seem to be working. Workshop is showing this is a 0.000MB file. And in the mod launcher, the entry has no tile and Status says "Compiled for outdated Game Ver."
