why is the sky black?

it feels absurdly weird playing a map in a video game, walking in places that I've visited and seen IRL.

I imagine that uncanny feeling is invoked (or at least something similar) playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as someone who's grown up in Eastern Europe and visited Chernobyl and Pripyat.

It feel weird (like uncanny valley but with locations instead of people), but I do appreciate maps like these when I find them.

I kinda wish there were more maps based on US locations, but I understand a little too well why there's not and that's fine.

Had a mission set on this map this weekend. Looks familiar as resident of Finland! Good work.

This is an incredible terrain, i like it so much. Perfect for a Red Down 1984 scenario... ;).

Hell yes! I've been looking for a good map of American territory for some Red Dawn scenarios. Chernarus is pretty, but it's hard to ignore all the signs written in Russian/Czech.

Absolutely brilliant.

Tried the map out, loved it! It's really neat and feels like a US area. My only gripe is that it's only 10x10 km because this is a really sweet map that I'd love to spend more time exploring. Thanks for making it!

Have you updated the map to the new lighting model? The sky appears black like in obsolete maps. Just thought you should know in case anyone else is experiencing the same error. Thanks!

I can't see the map in the editors map list. Is this just me, or anyone else is having this issue ?
After some googleing I have found a forum that says it is has something to do with the cfg file, but I am not sure what the problem may be.

Wyoming definitely exists. I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt and assume you're fail trolling.

And it might not be any good for a combat sim but ArmA 3 isn't all about combat. There are other mods for it too, like the Life mod.

Why use this portion of the park? Personally I feel like the region you chose to model is kindof bland for a combat sim. I much rather would've prefered seeing Yellowstone Lake or at least an area that contained Old Faithful. Instead you used the region of the park that is probably both the most flat and least interesting, but hey, at least you can go into montana.

If you plan on working on a new project/ improving this one, I recommend adding the southern half of the park OR doing the grand tetons!

If you'd gotten those grid squares from the RQ, you'd know where Wyoming was.
