Hi everyone! I just remade this taunt pack for the new Age of Empires II Definitive Edition game.

The order remained the same, except for a handful taunts in the beginning (Because Age of Empires DE has 105 taunts.)

Yeah but then it would've been a mess. Sounds of the same series (for example monty python), would be all over the place. I think it was a necessary evil to mess up the order.

In order to make it a bit more sensible, I have put the music and sound effects at the back (that's 501-600). All the other quotes are ranked alphabetically, by the source of the material.

While I appreciate your mod, I disagree about it being "more work". All you had to do was add the number 501 + whatever you wanted to the new editions. Changing the old ones actually was more work than not changing them... lol

I'm sorry guys, I wanted to do a big overhaul, and retaining the old taunt order would have taken way too much of my time.

But for at least the next 5 years the order will stay the same. I promise

It's a bit of a hassle, but I'm sure you are going to like the new taunts, and pretty much all the old taunts are still there.

Why did you change the taunt order after it has been the same for so long???

Good news everyone! I finally managed to update the mod. All of the original taunts work once more! Including the beloved wololo.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to fix the problem yet as described jamesb. It is not my fault, but a problem with the mod manager. In the meantime you can fix it by simply copying the original taunts into the modfolder with the new taunts.

@jamesb: I will try to fix this issue.

Needs a slight fix, any taunt that ends in a 0 (so 100, 430 etc) is actually used by typing it without that final 0. i.e. typing 10 says "alright, we'll call it a draw" and 43 says "why do you ask questions when you already know the answers" which interferes with the defaul taunts already in the game. Biggest flaw is that 30 "wololo" doesn't work!

My friends and I love these taunts, but with the new patch they no longer work.. It says something about they need to be updated to a new workshop system?

At the moment, the taunts only work when AoK is set in the english language.

I agree with farloux about starting this mod at 400. Theres a few others I want specifically but they would clash since most are in 300. But I do love this mod!

I think a lot of people would appreciate it if you changed the numbers to start in the 400s and end at 900. These overwrite the majority of other taunt mods.

I haven't encountered any crashes in the lobby using these taunts. They're all encoded the same way so if there's a bug it's probably the fault of the game, not the taunt files.

I have found found out that if you use these taunts allot in lobby the game crashes randomly.

mtmoyers, the taunts are stored in subfolder Taunts->EN, if you are playing witha different language you need to copy them to your local language subfolder, for example, Taunts->ES for spanish.... it happened to me...

okay i must know what song number 493 is the list says its something but when i googled that i got nothing.

Subscribed to it but can't get any of them to work in-game. Is there something I'm missing?
