So i noticed a little bug on things like ropes and stuff, where trying to bounce will activate the badge and you don't gain any new height

I installed this mod after I've bought all the badge seller's badges. The badge is not there and it still says that its out of stock, any way to fix this?

yeah the only problem that i have is that this badge can be as game breaking as it can be fun. I had it on my first modded playthrough and i geniuenly love it, the problem is that in many spots it can literally delete any challenge from the game beacuse you pressed spacebar. its not even that diffilcult to time it. This makes elevated areas like Subcon Forest feel like a cakewalk, allowing you to straight up jump into spots of the map you shouldnt be on ACT 1!

The whole "RAW HORIZONTAL SPEED and zoom around like a true gamer." part of this badge's functions is kinda broken, in a bad way.Could you look into it please?

I have a small bug to report. Activating the bounce, while taking damage, locks you into the damage animation, until you receive damage again.

I might be missing something be cause I spent like 5 minutes messing around with this but I couldn't get it to do anything useful. All it does is make it so an otherwise normal jump turns into a little useless jump if I jump right after landing again, plus a lot of the time I think it makes me move backwards?

It's not showing up in the shop. I've not only beaten the Mafia Boss, but all of the other bosses too (excluding Death Wish versions).

I noticed that you made it so bouncing multiple times in a row makes you bounce less high- however, for some reason, using the Ice Hat refreshes the bounce, making you capable of doing a full bounce again. This basically means you can use the Ice Hat to build up as much height as you want (that is, if you don't care about fall damage). I assume this is a bug?

That's a bug with the vanilla game. Roulette items also show up when mods are disabled too. They're definitely aware of it, so hopefully this'll get fixed when the DLC drops.

Trying to play with mods features disabled and, uh, I'm pretty sure I just got the badge in what's supposed to be a vanilla run in the badge salesman dude. @Flame 1) If I don't SetPhysics to Falling, you get stuck in the ground. There's no status effects involved here.
2) It's intended to be used from high ledges, just like the Hover mechanic it's inspired by.
3) I disabled double jumps before I added diminishing returns on multiple bounces. Just tested it with them enabled again, doesn't feel cheesable so expect an update soon.
4) It's supposed to be disabled, expect this to be fixed in that same update. Fall damage is staying though, unless I can find a way to delay you from taking it for a third of a second without it looking jank.

I love the badge and its idea, but I have a few issues with how it currently plays:

1.) Hat Kid immediately does a "fall" status effect after executing a bounce. This is problematic because, while falling, you can't control your air movement well. I suggest something like either a "bounce" or "twirl" status effect for Hat Kid instead.

2.) The badge does next to nothing unless you're falling from a higher ledge. In my opinion, there should be a preliminary bounce height for when the player tries bouncing from ground-level. For example, a single jump by default should equal the height of a double jump if they don't fall much. This would instantly feel more meaningful.

3.) You can't double-jump after a bounce-jump. Players love chaining combos (though if you feel this would be OP I understand)

4.) Perhaps disable Hat Kid's floor bump animation when falling from a great height? This badge encourages falling anyway, so I don't see why fall bumping / damage can't be disabled as well.

I like the badge and what it wants to do but as Werti said the jump you get out of the shoes are weak. I would make the shoes more powerful otherwise it feels like it fills up a precious badge slot.

I feel like the badge jump shouldn't activate if the height of the badge jump isn't bigger than a normal jump, because when you're trying to go fast and jump around quickly, the badge just eats your normal jump and turns them into small useless hops and you can't even double jump after. It's pretty annoying when you're not doing big hops.
