@jenny.louw You can make any engine work with any car with the editor. I have made config files with the boxer engine. I just have not gotten Lit to respond so I can ask permission to upload them.

@Flomo01 if you go into game editor you can put any engine you want in every car - just keep in mind that you may have to change the size, placement, exhaust, drive shaft, etc. to line up correctly.

That's the problem with engine swaps - most engine changes will require more work to line everything up correctly and that's not something a modder can change without making a separate config file for every configuration. But you can do it yourself - which a strength of this game. :)

which engines can I put inside the beetle? in the description of the car it says that there is only one fitting engine. But I have heard that it's possible to swap it.

there are now boxer engines available as part of Porsche DLC (and deadbob's Type 1 Beetle has a flat four), will this be updated to have a more appropriate engine.

@Optimal Thrust the DLCs needed for every mod are listed to the right of the description. This one only requires the Tuning DLC, which is free. :)

hey if you need dlc for this mod what dlc is required? i would assume the porshe dlc would do the trick
