Yeah, I found out now. I think it's actually a time warp between the UK and the rest of the world. I found out that in most of Europe, North America and parts of Asia they use a new logo while the UK still uses the "old" logo.
I prefer the old can design and logo anyway personally.

@ tords☭verden [GB] - this logo is from our 80's here in the US. There's a time warp it seems between the US and the rest of the world

What do you mean by "throwback can"? I'm not sure about the US but in the UK this can design is still used.
