Good job!
Harbingerman 26 Dec, 2019 @ 12:46pm
Looks Nice ! Gonna add it !
Egon_Freeman 22 Dec, 2019 @ 9:02pm
Oh, for the record: I've figured out the correct order to load this mod in, or otherwise the issue got fixed somehow. In any case, it works - and the pump wells are darlings .

Can you make the mod compatible with Glass Bottles x200 ModID=1402919630 ? As it seems not to be compatible. Glass Bottles will not stack with this mod activated and it is not possible to spawn or build the bottle maker.
bleizez13 30 Apr, 2019 @ 12:40am
I get that. Sorry for you that you can't have fun modding this game at the moment... Hope they will update that kit in the future!

My biggest fear is that modifying anything without an updated mod kit, based on the current state of the game, is only going to screw more stuff up at this point. If snail comes out with an updated kit, I will be happy to fix any issues. Hell, I'll probably start modding again, and additional features will get added to the mod. As it stands right now, I don't think it's in anyone's best interest for me to mess with it.

My sincere apologies, and appreciation for your understanding.

Hey gang,

So, I've seen a lot of posts recently in regards to DnL and modding. I haven't played DnL in a long time, I have mostly given up on it. The main reason being is, that it appears to me at least, that snail has given up on the modding community behind DnL.

I would love to fix these issues all of you are having, but the sad fact is, snail has not updated the modkit with all of their new content. Can you still mod with it in it's current state? Yeah, kinda. You are going to run into some issues though.
bleizez13 4 Apr, 2019 @ 12:44am
Hello, I've got the same problem Jean already raised: when built on a manor foundation, the pump well won't let itself be connected to pipes (any pipes). Can anything be done about that? It's a great mod by the way, thank you very much for the work you put into it!
Egon_Freeman 9 Feb, 2019 @ 3:41am
Just a heads-up -- when I attempt to connect to the DS I run w/ this mod loaded, my clients get a LowLevelFatalError about swapping linkers (cites DAL_PrimaryInventoryBP_CropPlot_Large for some reason).
Pale Jack  [author] 8 Dec, 2018 @ 3:48pm
@benai: That is correct, engrams do not work when placed in the devkit. They work fine in the editor testing mode, but they fail to work when loaded up in the actual game. This is an issue snail has to fix before anything will show up as a learnable craftable skill for any mod.
benai 8 Dec, 2018 @ 11:56am
All items are only spawnable not craftable until Snail gets Mods really working?

Rocks 2 Nov, 2018 @ 4:14pm
I would also be happy about stackable foundations, or height adjustable foundations
Rocks 2 Nov, 2018 @ 3:57pm
Hello I would also like to know how I come to the workbench to make things, thanks
sigurd 2 Nov, 2018 @ 10:42am
Kann mir bitte jemand sagen wie ich die Werkbank bekomme um die sachen herzustellen??
Killerbee_ds 19 Oct, 2018 @ 8:07am
THIS IS A HELL OFF A PERFECT MOD THNX!!
Telavor 16 Oct, 2018 @ 3:41am
Yes it does as Admin spawn.
Barshotz 15 Oct, 2018 @ 9:43am
Does this mod work in the dlc?
Pale Jack  [author] 1 Oct, 2018 @ 9:59pm
@Wolfkyn, I figured out that the kiln was set to go into stasis and when in stasis it would not produce charcoal. I haven't been able to reproduce your issue with it burning wood and not producing charcoal after it comes out of stasis though. I'm still looking into that. Sorry for the wait.
Pale Jack  [author] 28 Sep, 2018 @ 3:40pm
@Wolfkyn that's strange. Can you give me any other details? Like did you leave the area the kiln was at? I haven't seen this before but I really only play on servers. I would like to try and replicate what you are experiencing, but I need some more details I think because right now I am just spinning my wheels. :)
Silv3rGunna 19 Sep, 2018 @ 2:02pm
this is a cool mod thank you very much i like all the items i have it currently on the pve server didn't wanna add it to pvp yet everyone more focus on raiding :D

if anyone wants to join our discord and play our dark and light mod server which supports this mod too https://discord.gg/HjMG6ry
Pale Jack  [author] 7 Sep, 2018 @ 9:05am
Forgot to add the spawn codes for the new items, but I imagine people using this are most likely already using the workbenches from it as well, so they would have been craftable anyway. Regardless, the mod was updated yesterday and the spawn codes were updated in the appropriate discussion topic just now. :)
WinterNight 1 Aug, 2018 @ 11:01am
Ah yes, i already added that to my server, thankyou anyway for the recomendation :)
Pale Jack  [author] 31 Jul, 2018 @ 7:31pm
@English Rose: If you haven't seen it already (I assume you have but just in case) Darinius has a really cool decorative style mod that adds all kinds of neat things called DecorNLamps https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1403340773

I highly recommend it. :)
Pale Jack  [author] 31 Jul, 2018 @ 7:28pm
@English Rose:
I can't promise I will ever do anything purely decorative, I generally like focusing on the pragmatic and functional (if not a bit mundane). My personal tastes towards design lean heavily toward steam punk with a splash of modern. If I was to make anything steam punky though I would probably just hand it over to iSpezz to be honest. And modern doesn't much fit the theme of the game. ;)

That's not to say I won't ever do anything cool looking or aesthetically pleasing. I just feel like, in order to fit the theme of this mod, it must also have a purpose. Bridges are on my agenda as well; rope for ledge to ledge (or ceiling structure to ceiling structure) and beam (leg) style bridges.

If you see something in the game, that you normally can't craft, but would serve a functional purpose let me know. I'm more than willing to take requests.
WinterNight 31 Jul, 2018 @ 3:13pm
Oh cool, thanks, i love decorative items. :D
Pale Jack  [author] 31 Jul, 2018 @ 1:49pm
@English Rose:
Yes. I have a charcoal kiln that will be added soon, as well as square garden plots that will snap to each other as well as foundations.

Assuming I have the time to complete them those should both be going in tomorrow evening.
WinterNight 31 Jul, 2018 @ 12:08pm
Will you be adding alot more items?
Evolvei 23 Jul, 2018 @ 3:42pm
Yes needs to be fixed in the default UI, was hoping maybe the mod could improve workbench UI and fix problems.
Pale Jack  [author] 23 Jul, 2018 @ 3:40pm
@Evolvei: I'm not sure if this is something I can fix, or if it's just an artifact of how the in-game UI functions. I'll do some troubleshooting, but if you can point me toward a mod who's author has figured out how to solve this already then maybe I can trouble them for a solution.
Evolvei 23 Jul, 2018 @ 3:37pm
Click on the Resource Tab in the workbench, move something out of the workbench inventory into your inventory or from your inventory to workbench. The UI does not stay on resources, it goes back to all
Pale Jack  [author] 23 Jul, 2018 @ 3:29pm
Wait, do you mean the work benches? Like the Arcane Altar and Smithing Workstation? I guess I don't understand what issue you are having. The work benches are supposed to work like their in game counterparts, with simply a larger inventory. Could you clarify what your issue is exactly?
Evolvei 23 Jul, 2018 @ 2:09pm
Benches have same problem as default. When I select resource tab, then move anything in or out the selection stays on resource tab and does not stay on resource items.
Pale Jack  [author] 23 Jul, 2018 @ 12:54pm
Hey Jean. Do you mean the manor foundations? I'll look into it. I suspect the issue might not be with the well in this case but with the pipes... I'll look into it and let you nkow what I find.
Jean 23 Jul, 2018 @ 11:45am
lock = castle Sorry my english is bad
Jean 23 Jul, 2018 @ 11:45am
Hello, a problem, you can not attach pipes to the pump if the pump is installed in a lock. In another house made of straw, stone or iron no problem
Pale Jack  [author] 21 Jun, 2018 @ 1:00pm
No problem. Hope you enjoy the mod. I'm currently working on fixing the bug with drinking directly from wells, if you hadn't already seen it. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1415231480/1727575977522797148/
matke587 21 Jun, 2018 @ 12:19pm
Cool. Thanks for that info and the tip :steamhappy:
Pale Jack  [author] 21 Jun, 2018 @ 11:20am
ProTip: For the time being, if you are running a server, and don't want to give away free items, you can swap the 0 to a 1 at the end of a spawn code. This will give you a blueprint for that item instead. You can then give that blueprint to a player, they can place it directly in their workbench, and then craft it from their workbench as many times as needed.
Pale Jack  [author] 21 Jun, 2018 @ 11:20am
I didn't remove them, I simply moved them over here in the discussions: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1415231480/1727575977522926298/

I did that because the uploader logs me out from steam, and seems to have a max character limit and an issue with "quotes" of some sort. So things get chopped off or placed incorrectly, and then I have to hurry up and log back into steam in order to fix it every time I update the mod. This is an effort to sort that behaviour.

Things won't be craftable until they update the client and add the ability for things to show in the ModTech tree. Which to my knowledge, still hasn't happened. Once it does, you should be able to earn the knowledge to craft it and have it show up in the workbench.
matke587 21 Jun, 2018 @ 9:49am
Are these items craftable now? As I notice you have removed the spawn codes.
