@Red Mushroom - Hi. I'm starting basic training in the actual British Army next Sunday. I have no time to update all of my mods. It's a huge task to get these done, and I can safely say I got a lot of them done before my start date to the point of oftentimes sacrificing things I needed to finish in real life for these mods. All I can ask for is some patience.

@pgames-food - Oh definitely, it's making noises like it's Terminator 2 Judgement Day in there with all the robotic whirring and hasta la vistas. Just waiting for that day, but in the meantime I'll try to get some other mods updated for you folks

if they can also clone the drive (if possible) as part of the process, before attempting another fix, (it may add a bit to the process, but i think its worth it)

ah ok no problem, (its not called the world best recovery tool for nothing, but its only good if the drive is spinning without any crunching noises, if that happens, switch it off as it needs a proper company to change out the hardware components but that might be several hundreds) - either way, its a shame when stuff is lost (happened to me in the past) so good luck either way

@=:Philos Tor'am:= - It didn't fall too hard, just landed exactly where the hard drive is. The bump was enough to mess with the actuator, something very sensitive. Laptop worked fine but it ran like a laptop with brain damage

@pgames-food - Don't wanna risk it like last time, actually the second time this happened and me attempting cheap DIY broke it even more. I appreciate your suggestion though, thank you. Just gonna drop by Curry's PC World when I get the money, the dosh the wonga

Hello guys, been out of action in modding for a few months but I'll answer the question:

"Swiggity swooty, where the bloody hell is the British Armed Forces booty?"

During May this year I produced over 1,000 new textures for the US Armed Forces mod (no exaggeration), it was on the verge of release until my laptop fell down and my HDD containing all files for the mods, the original templates and artwork that helps me mass produce this stuff along with coding was all lost.

It was a massive setback, had to focus on part time work, bills and my application to joining the British Army in real life. I don't want a rushed update, I wanted to make everything "definitive" and new, with a much more polished code and texture not only for this but across my several other PRH mods. Not easy to balance with reality since modding ended up becoming full-time with the weight of thousands pressuring me for updates.

I want each update done in such a way that I don't have to return to the mod later.

I was just asking how long does it take to update a mod from a previous version to the latest? Please don't take this in a negative way, I am actually curious in the process!

(me stocks up on tea and biscuits just in case) :)

do you know when the 1.0 update comes for your mod ?

Update will be a long time from now. The new update will feature the brand new kit that's being issues as of this post.

- Virtus Body Armor
- Virtus Helmet
- L85A3

Also changing the uniform textures to better match how the British Armed Forces dress. I'll get a more accurate MTP camo too.

@Dubs - needs new saves unless you have "faction discovery" mod. I recommend starting a new save instead to avoid possible issues

The british forces weapons don't seem to be dealing any damage to enemies to me =/
