That Battle 3 theme is used as the Enclave's war theme, I think. I remember it.

I hate to say it but I don't actually know how to port a mod to the vanilla version of the game.

Sorry.

And everything has now been fixed, and the Unique Trait has been changed. Now, the Unhappiness issues will make a lot more sense, and will only apply to the lategame.

Trait has been fixed. I am now replacing the old pictures on this Workshop page.

I'll get to work, and leave a comment when I'm finished and Version 2 is released.

Yeah, that sounds better. I'm liking the fallout mods

You're probably right, the scenario could be breaking the balance a little.

Still though, it occurs to me that the player doesn't have a lot of options for happiness in the early game, but luckily for you and everyone else who downloaded, I've already got a patch in mind.

I'm thinking that I'll buff the bonus to provide three Science instead of two, but only extend it to the Research Lab and Military Base. Not only does it make a lot more sense, it also confines the Unhappiness issues to the late game.

Sound good?

I was using the map from "into a new century" but I replaced normal USA and normal China with the modded versions, and I put everyone in the information age instead of modern age. I had the difficulty at emperor. Maybe I thought China was OP becuase the scenario starts them out with such a high population?

Test update: I'm having a pretty good time keeping my Happiness around 0 on Prince, combining all the bonuses that I listed off in the tips sections. It seems like it's feasible to just not build too many Science buildings and focus heavily on Happiness, trading with other Civs when you can.

I'm also dominating the Science game, as expected.

Could you tell me what settings were on in your game? What Civs were in it as well, and what you generally did in it?

Thanks, the mods are still cool

You should know I finished the edit. In the end, I also said that I tested this mod while playing on Settler...and I might not have considered the fact that Unhappiness is worse on higher difficulties. I'm running some tests right now to see how it is.

I'd like to know what difficulty you're playing on, what the map type is, anything you and others can tell me about your games playing as the United States, so I can look into this imbalance further.

I'm going to consider buffing the United States or nerfing China, but first, I'd like to know more. I listed plenty of solutions off the top of my head on how the issue could possibly be dealt with, which I have placed in the mod description due to hitting a comment character limit, and I want to know if the Unhappiness penalties are really as bad as they seem and need to be changed.

This is what I had in mind though, a playstyle of constantly having to keep an eye on your Happiness, while your Science chugs to Future Tech faster than anyone else. Sorry if I didn't get the balance quite right.

Your China mod makes the US very weak by comparison. Once China unlocks its broadcast towers and stuff, constant rebellions inside America are almost inevitable. Either nerf China or decrease the unhappiness penalty caused by science buildings to 1 or 2%.
