This was a nice calm descent.. before reaching Colton was travelling well over 55mph (i know u already warned us about the speed limit, but i was feeling a bit adventurous :-P .. had a tough time getting it down to 35mph (independent, dynamics, train brake and individual brakes of about 15 cars) got me down to the speed before i could break the speed limit.. near the end by mistake i tripped the PCS... got going again and stopped the train on both tracks so didnt have to stop twice at the end... uncoupled the second half and was also on the other track where had to stop the first half.. so two birds with one stone..

I got my train sim running again so I can get back to running your AWESOME scenarios RBJ!! I was just a tad rusty and had to use ALL the brakes ALL the way to get this puppy stopped. Great fun, as always and I see you have added a few more scenarios to this excellent series. Much to look forward to, thanks for the fun!

Quite a braking test, sand always helps. Will be ready when you are to start on Alaska, your other new ones will have to wait til fall. Keeping the pocektbook minder happy. As always thanks for all you do.

Canada? I did a series already but I plan on doing the newest one in the future. New series coming soon are NJT, Springfield, the San Francisco route and Alaska Railroad.

Well well, what a hairy job, but all ended good. RB, you talked about new scenarios in Kanada. What Route?
RBJets  [author] 25 Jun, 2018 @ 3:34am
Thanks Chris, I think I set my train break at 17% and never shut it off and let the Dynamic do the rest.

Wow that was a hair raising descent. Even on full dynamic braking it was hard to keep the speed in check! Still, got the cargo safely to its destination! Excellent scenario - thanks RB.
