Just curious.... why would you dock patrol boats in super-shallow waters where they can't move more than maybe 25' before they bottom out or run aground?

@SPLOOGE Subscribe to it here on the workshop, then it will appear as a scenario under the Phu Bai map. (Pretty sure you have to select the scenario on multiplayer, but you can still host a LAN server and play by yourself if you want to)

Great idea, patrol boats added! Unfortunately on this map, the river is too shallow to get them anywhere :/ But you can try
If there is a way to refill your troops back at base, I wouldn't know how to go about adding it. Not sure if that's something I want to add either, it might take away from the sense of mortality between you and your men.

Everything worked great, all objectives were taken and it was fun to do. If the player isnt satisfied with the armament there are tons of supplies at the FOB, so I had no problems there. My only honest gripe is the AA mission wiped half my platoon, making me feel like the dumbest Lt in history. Smart positioning of the enemy I guess, but regardless I had a tough time taking a city with a 4-man fire team and had to do the other objectives alone. Is there any way to fill in your ranks while resupplying at the FOB? I feel like this is a missing bit of realism that would make it playable. Also I noticed the FOB had river access. Maybe adding a PB boat as a tranport option, it would have made it much easier to get to certain objectives. Otherwise amazing job, it was more fun had better organized than the Arma campaigns. Felt like an Arma 2 mission.

The AI are a bit glitchy inside the base. The most reliable way to get them out I've found is to hop in a truck, drive just outside the base onto the road, and tell everyone to get in. They should make a beeline outside of the base and be functional after that.

overall fun but i can only do it with about 4 AI (when they want to work) the rest dont move an inch and the other ones and twos walk for a bit than dont move also but great missions

If you kill friendly AI teammates or civilians, (or run them over by accident), you will become a public enemy and be shot at by everyone

Hm, I will take a look at those tasks. And yeah the Chopper support is glitchy, but that is more of an Arma thing than a mission thing

OK - the mission is full playable and enjoying but there some problems with some tasks.

First try - first task - after a few minutes, the second teammate took over the command, but the task was still fulfilled, but not marked as done. I realized that now I was playing on the other side and right, I was shot dead when I returned to base
Second try - first task - (from a save before) - now I fulfilled the task again (no enemies alive, checked with a darter) but the task was not marked as done
Third attemp - first task - played from the beginning - now was all ok

Second task (AA) - all was ok

Third task (ambush) - I fulfilled the task (no enemies alive, checked with a darter) but the task was not marked as done

Fourth task (city) - I fulfilled the task (no enemies alive, checked with a darter) but the task was not marked as done

(Newbie in mission editing) Isn't it possible to make a starting parameter like "respawns enabled" with respawn limits (0 for infinity for example) and such?

That would make the best of both worlds (the ones that do not want to have respawns, can have them disabled and the others can enable them)

@TerrorTubs... as a long time content creator on here, don't let the Arma community demand you change what you want from your content. Trust me man. They never shut up and never stop demanding. Especially when they get wind that you'll compromise your own vision. Most of the people who make demands tend to ask for things to be easier. They don't deserve your time of day.

I love the fact that you do not have respawns in your Arma 3 missions; I do the same with mine. This is Arma not CoD, BF or RB6.

@Capwell dude, seriously calm down with your shitty elitism, other people want to sit back and not have to restart the entire thing if they die and just have some fun with friends. It's a /game/ get that through your apparently dense skull m9. Also try to get all of your thoughts across in one post instead of spamming up the comments with the same thing, it's annoying to have to sift through all that to read relevant comments.

Anyways it's not that difficult to add in the bis default respawn but IIRC the author would then have to define starting loadouts till they can get to an arsenal or something along those lines.

@TerrorTubs if you'd like me to add in the respawn for people that want it (assuming this wasn't meant to be some sort of super-hardcore unforgiving map etc) just lemme know, more than happy to help mate. Cheers

For people wanting respawns. I say this:

If you are too much of shitty player.
You can turn down and change the settings for the AI.
In singleplayer, it's easy.
In multiplayer, it requires techcial knowledge.

Learn to play. The AI is hard and even unforgiving.

THAT IS WHAT THE MISSION MAKER HAS DECIDED. - Either don't play or go make your own mission.

A good game dev knows when to let go of their initial vision. Not all ideas are good and forcing people to not use respawns when the community has obviously spoken on the subject and wants them is one of them.

Hm, are you playing full 10-player co op? If not, are you able to switch into your AI squadmates?
I remember (a while back) going to the menus and switching to a different character in multiplayer, but maybe that's changed since then (I'll admit I haven't been active in a long time)
