All right I got some sleep, y'know what I'm going to copy over my original file and adapt it, again, like cableguy221 said for SFO balancing. And ideally include those faction skills they get for consistency, y'know. The original file got developed, this one got kinda left behind, so there's more units to play with and stuff yay. And it'll probably be easier. And I'm lazy.

If I must, I may do that. For now, I am copying tables over to the new scheme which is easy enough, but I am also easily distracted. It seems, in the pack file manager, the tables with new schema are highlighted yellow so that makes things easy for me. I'm expecting I may have to go over the new schema and do some new values for my pack's records, but we'll see. Maybe just copying them over will be enough.
Ah, it is also good the normal pack works. But, here, not ideal of course.

Maybe just update the values from your other unit pack and roll with that? I'm not sure if there is a quick and easy way to do that.

I really appreciate the effort my dude. Your normal unit pack that isn't balanced for SFO works just fine, but they get steamrolled without the balance fixes.

I'm recalling there were several updates which impacted the structure of the databases themselves so I may need to do some behind-the-scenes, I guess, remaking or overhaul or something whereby I may need to transition my current build over to the new schema. It's a guess while I think out loud in the comments section of my mod file.

Well it updated but now my pack is apparently crashing my game when I launch a campaign or even enter custom battle so I'm guessing this is a problem with the unit roster I guess? I dunno, I haven't played with my mods in such a long time and I'm also mind-breakingly incompetent so I'm gonna try to fix this. If I can.

Warband comes across as a little too overpowered for me. I actually have to keep from using them to have a balanced game.

Love the rest of the roster though.

Came here to say what Jomix7 said; this mod works great thematically with Southern Realms but I love SFO, if its not too much of a pain an empire sketchbook- southern realms SFO mod would be most excellent :)

In the meantime for anyone wondering, Dogs of War is compatible with this mod, and these units can be added to any faction via that mod

Now it's just embarrassing. It took me 3 days to notice the report and the problem was that the Riflemen unit was missing its record in the tables for unit faction permissions and building recruitment.

I've got the mod working, but I can't see/recruit the Riflemen unit on the campaign. I see them in the custom battles, but they aren't recruitable in the campaign. I see the Guards/Musketeers/Genadiers/Repeater Riflemen, but not the plain Riflemen. It could be a conflict with one of my other mods, but I don't think there's anything else with the unit name Riflemen.

Sorry, perhaps I should rephrase... if it's relatively-simple (IE a copy+paste from the Southern Realms sketchbook + the SFO balancing stats here) would you consider making a Southern Realms version of this mod? I know about the one for vanilla play, but I've been hooked on SFO for ages now, and can't imagine playing without it.

Frustratingly, I haven't made the discoveries I hoped for. So far my only understanding is some projectile trails and visual effects don't work with alternate firing modes. And some projectiles are only rendered as trails and effects. I... can keep trying to find trails that will work for alternate firing modes perhaps. It's disappointing and I hope that gets fixed, or I somehow stumble across a workaround.
