Hello, still a great mod after all these years. would it be possible for you to tweak the energy required tho? it's way to high I believe. bump it down maybe 20 or 30 levels

all the halo mods made by that guy has tech and stuff for each one, but is not balanced, like super not balanced.

so ends the need for this mod, a new one has appeared, o7 did your duty and didn't break, it probably will with the next patch.

but i love these strong buff item these are ok for my opinion because my empire ship was so freaking strong i put every mod in it and when i got the strongest shield and weapon a ship could become a 300k when it was the smallest one and a million when it come the strongest one :V holy s~it and it making me bored to dead :((( so when i got these oh damn those fallen empire now alot stronger and it making me wanted to destroy the universe with the other mod love it

@Vela I have not updated this mod in over half a year, I dont do much modding anymore so if you want to update this mod and upload it by all means do, just give me credit, its not hard to mod the game, just look up youtube videos and your golden.

@Dark What do you mean 3.0? The game is in 2.3. Also I don't have the time to put into mods much as I work full time and only get weekends. If there is a problem i'll try to get to it but can't promise anything. You and others are welcome to update the code and upload it just GIVE ME CREDIT IF YOU TAKE MY CODE

I’ll also add this is a cool mod and everything else is at least semi balanced. Just that one strike craft breaks everything.

Is there a reason strident strike craft do 4.6 million damage per hit? (900-1000 with +4900% damage to Hull/armor). All the fallen empires use these and one shot everything. Just their base 900-1000 damage would be fine.

@Prime Nexus™ This is good and will work. There's still room for improvement, but nothing that sticks out and can be worked on if you got no other projects and bug fixes to work on (like Covenant items and hanger items).

good news, you're close, there is a kinetic effect when the MACs fire.
bad news: there isn't a tracer, so you're effectively firing invisible rounds...which is terrifying, the more I think about it.

@theredhawk After going through the game and other mod files i found that im missing a file that changes the speed of the projectile, so i need to build on and update it.

@theredhawk I think i know how to fix the firing problem, as for the effect i changed it to the tracer_round_gauss_cannon and just renamed it, all MACs should be using the same effect so i don't know whats going on.

@Prime Nexus™ From what I can tell (was very hard to tell), The Mk IV uses the laser effect, the Mk IX is a maybe laser or plasma shot effect (was hard to tell) and Mk II used Auto-cannon effect though weirdly, only firing to the side.

@Prime Nexus™ I accidentally tested the wrong MAC (it had a similar Icon style to yours). It doesn't appear to have changed the effect, unless you only changed it for the other MACs besides the MkV, will test.
Don't think it means I taken back what I said, I still appreciate what you did so quickly
