I'm hoping they updated the resources, because if so I will absolutely integrate whatever isn't already there in the new viewmodels, especially considering they missed a few things.

It's sad to see that not all of these changes are present in the new viewmodels, oh and the Spas-12 hook.

Do you suppose you could edit the reload animations so they match up with when your ammo's refilled? I would imagine one could edit the FPS setting in the QC to do that.

the decompiled SDK QC files (that the developers provided) unfortunately doesn't include the desert eagle at all, which is why you don't see many vanilla edits of it.

you might try looking up "overhauling the originals", it gives the vanilla deagle a facelift as well as the pistols

rocky changes the sequences for dual wield so instead of shooting the right pistol first, it shoots the left, making each pistol use its appropriate sounds, this however doesn't work for third person but i doubt that matters.

personally, i just took the pistols from Overhauling the Originals and made it so only the P220s appear so you have dual p220s instead of this weird mix that doesn't make sense in some contexts (like picking up a glock and getting a p220 out of it if you had a melee weapon beforehand)

i'm unsure if i could get permission from Lt. Rocky to upload this mod but if I do I'll put it up

someone made fixed viewmodels for the pistols, it just puts the glock in the right hand and the p220 in the left

It's not possible to fix this via the model (firing sounds aren't included in the .QC), and editing the games_sounds_weapons.txt doesn't work either since, for whatever reason, the game doesn't let you replace that file (it always uses the default one).

Personally I just made both firing sounds the same for my game so both guns only use the one the single P220 uses since it seems there's no sure-fire way to fix this issue without just swapping the pistol models themselves, which is beyond my capabilities.

I have a question about the dual pistol firing sounds on l4d2. Whenever you have dual pistols, the firing sounds for the guns switch, so that the glock now has the p220's firing sound and vice versa. Is it possible to fix this?

@Vector by default the spas-12 includes a hook on the stock (meant for carrying the gun IRL IIRC), to me it was kind of excessive so i removed just the hook.

not sure about the video, it'll probably be really simple if i end up doing it
