Multiply the yaw or other signal by 35, send this value to a smart engine and plug in a bearing, giving power (black-painted block) and speed (white-painted block).

This won't create a dead zone, but it will reduce the yo-yo effect.

I downloadeed the modpack continuation mod and i cant figure out how to add a deathzone with it

You can add deadzones with other mods like the The Modpack Continuation mod. I don't have plans to update this mod any time soon.

It does barrerly work please please add a bit of deatchzone cause my plane is going up and down left and right non stop cause there is no deathzone. Exactly what DarqousLeblack said "would it be possible to add a neutral position for the gyro so it indicates neither left/right nor up/down?"

I don't understand what you mean. The Gyro Sensor does not apply any physical forces, only when you connect one of the output to something like an engine, and connect the engine to a bearing, will something happen.

hi, for me the mod works great, nice!
But I still have a problem, the vehicle is glitch, I mean it seems to float when you play with the bridge at the bottom of the creation.

This comes from the gyro? would there be a way to correct the problem?

I didn't remove anything. Haven't tested the mod in 0.7, will look into it if I don't forget.

Please bring back the ability to control rotation using the camera in the sight/camera (camera block)
This opportunity existed before, and it opened up many possibilities.
But now there is no movement, and this is with all the cameras from different mods

Please modify the gyro to have a "PID" Which is "Prediction interval detection" i think
, all i know is that it can predict a movement at an interval you tell it to, then it sends an inverse of that or something, idk, look one up online

Please for the love of god make blocks able to limit the rotation of parts the gyro rotates, including the gyro Itself, because right now It just makes them clip right through other parts

The power sent to the engine is proportional to the distance to travel, so when it's at the center the power is zero. The shaking you're having is probably because you're using an engine that has a minimum amount of time it is delivering power to the bearings. This is a feature (or a bug) of the vanilla engines that was introduced years ago. You have to use either the old vanilla engines (the ones you can't upgrade), or use a modded engine. I cannot remove this feature/bug. Increasing the deadzone will not help.

There should be a small dead spot for the gyro when your camera is aligned enough with it, because turrets (for example) actually can't stop moving as they keep exagerately adjusting towards the center and exceeding it. The aiming becomes extremely unstable as it keeps shaking.

the update will not make this mod obsolete, there are many things you can do with this mod that aren't possible with the new gyro seat, like make a mouse controlled helicopter. i'm still working on that one though.

You have to use the old creative mode engines or modded engines.

The survival mode engines the Scrap Mechanic developers you can currently find in your creative mode inventory are broken. They have a minimum activation time I cannot disable. I already reported it to Axolot, but it doesn't look like they're going to fix it.

The "New Legend Mod" mod authors downloaded my mods, opened the script files I made, copied parts of the script they needed, pasted it in their mod and then published it as their own work. They never asked me if they could use (parts of) my scripts.

When I called them out for stealing 100% of my WASD Converters script, one of the authors asked if they could use it. I allowed them to use that version of the script, which was old and broken anyway, but nothing more. That didn't stop them however from stealing parts of the Camera Controls scripts in the future.

No I will not. They copied my code. Just place the Gyro Sensor on your turret and it should work.

I want to redesign the mod a bit first. Unfortunately, I'm running into math-related issues I can't figure out. If I can't solve the problem relatively soon I'll see if I can come up with some recipes.

that mod doesnt work with new game version, when i enable cameras from any mod which have camera it doesnt work properly, fix please

I can't do anything about the issue with the surival mode engines. I've reported it to the developers.

I've now added support for camera roll and pushed the fix for the Follow Camera and Strict Follow Camera modes. Unfortunately, spatial rotation math is hard and I don't know how to fix the awkward rotations yet, so it looks a little weird.

If I haven't figured it out by tomorrow, I'll probably push a temporary fix for the Follow Camera and Strict Follow Camera modes, the update broke character rotations while seated.

Hmm, I'll look into it later. I'm currently working on adding support for roll and Tait-Bryan angles that are not in the yaw, pitch, roll order.

I figured it out. A patch note tweaked the electric engine power, but your old example uses the pre survival engines. That's why it shakes around.
