I guess yeah. I've been planning to update it for survival mode for a while now, but I just can't figure out the math. If I ever solve it I'll figure something out for the engines if Axolot hasn't fixed it by then.

I don't know much about modding, but could you just make a modded engine with parameters fit for the camera controls?

Yeah the new engines added by the survival mode update, which have replaced the old engines in creative mode, have a minimum duration that they're on. I can't make a workaround for this without breaking compatibility with other mods. Either Axolot would have to fix it (I don't even know if they're aware of this problem), or you'll have to use the old creative mode / modded engines.

the wobbling only occurs when the seat is attached to the object that is moving, otherwise, its pretty stable

The heavy wobbling might be the new engines fault, im currently working on a tank (the British mark V) and I was getting very bad and unsteady cannon control. BUT, i cut the engines off of this example turret and though them on my tank and got way better results. friends, save yourselves the headache and use the engines provided by this blueprint. you will get way better results, i promise.
